How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Smell from the kitchen comes sometimes up in the morning.
The location is good and can be quickly reached from Heathrow airport via Picadelly tube line. Also via the same line one has a good connection to the central London. The staff was nice and helpful and the beds were quite good. The Wifi was quite good as well.

More hooks for towels, jackets or handbags. A light above the beds would be great - there was only one light in the middle of the ceiling.
This hotel was conveniently located to Heathrow Airport and was spotlessly clean. The staff helped with our baggage without being asked. The building has been recently painted, and while the rooms were basic, they were of a reasonable size, particularly the bathroom.

Ground floor room so was difficult to ventilate and feel safe. Could do with an air conditioning unit or fan.

Triple room was pretty tight after accomodating three persons plus luggage
Close to airport and train station. Value for money landing pad to just sleep and de-jet lag

The room was very small and basic. We don't like leaving our luggage in the car overnight but the room wasn't big enough for a large suitcase without tripping over it. There is no air con and it was very hot & stuffy.
The hotel is convenient for an overnight stay near Heathrow Airport. The room was clean and had tea & coffee in the room. There is a small car park.

Very noisy on a night if window open due to being near the busy town. People can’t close doors with the handle so a lot of banging. Room ideal for a night but to stay a few nights could have been bigger.
Close to Twickenham where we needed to be, perfect location for food and drink. Regular bus service, train station on same road and Heathrow 20 mins away. Staff very friendly and always happy to help. Room clean and staff on hand when needed more milk, towels, pillows etc

Parking was small and with other guests parking made it hard to fit. Streets around it are residents zone parking so no good.
Location was great for Twickenham. Rooms and bathroom clean, beds comfy, could have done with two pillows mind. TV, kettle etc in room.

We only stayed for one night and it was perfect but may be a little small for a couple to stay for a longer period of time but overall no concerns.
The staff member that greeted us for check in and check out was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean with good facilities (kettle, shower gel, etc). Overall cheap and cheerful!

My rented vehicle was damaged whilst seated in the hotel car park. The car was parked in direct line of sight of the reception. But no staff member made any indication to advise what and how it happened.
Room was cleaned daily and for the price there were no thrills. Space for a family of 4 in one room, with ability to move around. No breakfast but felt okay for the priced we paid. Location was key for trips into London.

Electronic lock on the door seemed to malfunction in the morning on day of checkout & seemed to be permamanently unlocked. No staff available to notify of this before leaving No staff on reception at time of checkout, which was 8am. No response by staff on morning of checkout to reception bell or telephone.
Good location, within walking distance of Hounslow Central Underground station Close to Heathrow Airport Reception allows late checkin Staff responded within hours to queries I had re checkin time via Booking.com messaging Bed was comfortable

Location convenient for Underground station. An easy walk into the centre of Hounslow. My room was in the newer part of the hotel. Comfortable for a short stay. There is some traffic noise but didn’t cause me any real problem.

The room I had is next to the reception, which means you can hear guests coming and going.
