The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was very comfortable and furnished to a high standard. Spotlessly clean. The breakfast was exceptional beautifully cooked and presented excellent value with free parking, breakfast included and reliable Free WI-FI. A couple of minutes walk to the Plymouth Hoe and a short walk to the city centre shops and restaurants. Overall an exceptional stay 10/10

The only minor point is to let folks there was parking at the rear of the hotel.

This hotel is perfect. I've stayed in hundreds of hotels, and this one shines above most of them. Staff are happy rooms spotless. Parking front and rear. Well organised staff. Breakfast was good.

Builders next door making a racket on the afternoon we arrived but this was out of the hotel's control.

Lovely clean room, spacious. Receptions staff greeted us in a professional and friendly manner. Smashing breakfast with good choice. Close to the Theatre Royal, this is why we stayed.

The furniture was pretty old and outdated and the room was rather small.

Staff members were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was delicious. The location is pretty good, just next to the Barbican which is lovely to visit.

There was nothing not to like. Everything was to a high end specification to the finer details. Comfortable, clean, well stocked for tea & coffee. Even little decorative bit on loo rolls. Brilliant selection for breakfast both continental & cooked.

Nothing it was all good.

Breakfast was really good. Staff very friendly. To be honest we only came over from Cornwall and booked it, as the location was perfect for us to walk to after we got married at Pier One on the Hoe. We would stay there again if we needed something for a similar occasion. It also has parking which is a bonus in that location. Good value for money too. x

The room was a good size, the beds were comfy, nice shower & bathroom. Very clean. Staff were all very helpful and friendly, and there was a good choice for breakfast, and the full English we had was great. Fab location

Our fault but i didn’t realise that there was more parking at the rear of the property, i saw the forecourt was full and assumed that was all the parking. We paid for street parking right outside.

The room was very small and bathroom door openned up to the wardrobe tight situation, and the bedroom lights was much too bright, no lamps plus only one bedroom side table which made things awkward for one partner. BED very hard uncomfortable and Tea cups too small.. Bathroom excellent good wash basin and great shower facilities... Expected more for the money paid out. A bigger size room would have been ideal, has explained above, were a cramped with little space to move round....

Excellent food quality with generous portions. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location suited our needs.

Unfortunately the fire alarm went off at 6.45am which rather disturbed our sleep and there were no members of staff available to take charge.
