Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesBed was very hard and uncomfortable.
The property was beautiful. Rooms were very nice and staff was amazing. Easy to get to town and nearby beach. I did rent a car as it was a bit of a walk to town. Daily breakfast buffet had many options with a coffee machine to get lattes.

United KingdomThe food at the hotel left a lot to be desired. The buffet breakfast was decent (although after a week of it, there is little change in the food offered so we did get a bit sick of it), but the lunches and dinners were decidedly average, bordering on bad. Luckily we hadn't planned to eat dinner or lunch there often, but still a bit of a let down.
The hotel was gorgeous, with a backdrop of the ocean and a small beach right on the doorstep. The pool was gorgeous, and nice and clean. All over, the hotel was clean, well maintained, and just perfect for our holiday!

United StatesThere were no blankets in the room- just sheets. Would be great in the summer time but a light coverlet was still needed at the time we went. We used our travel blankets and the robes they provided for a little warmth. They probably would have provided us some if we asked but it was late.
The view was spectacular and staff was very friendly. They were so nice about making change to our reservation since I booked the wrong date! Very much appreciated. We were able to walk into town in about ten minutes. This was the only hotel so far that did not include shuttle- although not a huge issue for us. They will book you a shuttle transport but it was €25 each way. The pool was beautiful but too cold outside for us to try.

IrelandCouple of minor bits for the hotel/a guest to consider. Only a standard body/hair wash combo was provided. It would elevate the hotel further to have a few more toiletries on offer. On one of the nights there was a party going on nearby which was quite loud until 3am - it was just one night but worth bringing earplugs just in case. All other nights were quiet however.
Beautiful view, very friendly and helpful staff and gorgeous setting. Before we had even arrived the staff were so helpful arranging transfers, and when we arrived they were so accommodating arranging taxis and a trip to a local winery which was the highlight of our trip. We also ventured into the port town one of the nights (€20 taxi each way for a 10 mins drive so it is pricey), and had amazing local greek food on a recommendation from one of the ladies at reception which was lovely. The pool area was beautiful (no mad rush to the loungers here in the morning also which was nice) which a lovely view, the rooms were really modern, clean and nicely set up as individual units, and the setting was really pretty. Breakfast had a really good range and was of a high standard, the pool food options were nice and reasonable and the BBQ at the hotel we had one of the nights was a highlight (nice authentic greek food). I also had a massage one of the mornings which was such a treat and reasonably priced. Overall it was a lovely, relaxing and warm setting to have a chilled few days, and as a good base camp to explore the island if you rent a car/quad. Definitely good value for the price and I would happily come back/recommend it.

Czech RepublicRoom was very small and no space for your belongings... (For 3 people 1 stick with 6 hangers and 3 shelves not 1 drawer for some jewelry or underwear) no real closet, small shower. Small queen size bed. Staff could be a bit more friendly (except for the breakfast manager who was always smiling) We had a car so we could drive anywhere but otherwise it is far from any shops or restaurants.
Beautiful location with fantastic Paros bay view. Very nice and simple accommodation situated in a beautiful garden. Very good breakfast. Extraordinary pool area with lots od rest areas and sofas . Nice dining area. Very nice and friendly breakfast manager. Beautiful Paros Poros beach nearby.

IrelandWalk into main town Parikia was a little dangerous with no footpath. Not a criticism of the hotel but just for visitor awareness.
Rooms and all areas around the hotel and pool were very clean. View from pool area and balconies were beautiful. Breakfast selection had something for all tastes. Staff very pleasant and helpful

SerbiaWhat I didn't like was that I was given a room near their storage room where the washing machine was constantly running during the day, there was noise but not during the night, and the terrace was right on the passageway - as I was alone in the room, I didn't feel comfortable to sleep next to the open terrace. Also note, if you are a driver, before joining the main road from the hotel there is a steep hill so it is not very visible when you join. Be careful.
it is a small hotel separated from the city, about 5 minutes drive, just below the hotel there is a nice beach and a bar, and another sandy beach is a 5 minute walk away. The hotel is not noisy or crowded. The breakfast is excellent.

JerseyOur shower didn’t have a door - I know it is part of the design and looks good, but it did mean our bathroom was soaked after we both showered, which was a bit of a shame.
The property was clean, accessible and lots of little spots to relax and enjoy the sun or shade. The pool is brilliant, with pool beds and umbrellas. The pool bar is great as well with great options for lunch. The staff are so kind and helpful, they helped us get a great deal for a hire car for a few days and also a brilliant boat trip - nothing was too much to ask! Also the breakfast was great. Lots of healthy options and always tasted great.

IsraelThe breakfast didn't have enough vegetarian options, not even one bread without backing improvement from animals, the cornflakes were old - so I found myself buying everyday breakfast outside from the hotel, but if your not vegetarian I think you would love the breakfast

NorwayI had an amazing time at Paros Bay. From the very beginning I felt at home in this wonderful place. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful at all hours. The facilities are great. The room was very nice and modern. Our plan was to travel more around the island, but we ended up staying at the hotel for most of the time due to the relaxed atmosphere there. We had everything we needed at Paros Bay. The food at the hotel - both breakfast, lunch and dinner was superb and better than in the surrounding restaurants. The chefs made a variety of great dishes and as a result we had most of our meals during the week at the hotel. I'd in particular recommend booking a table for dinner outside at sunset. The view and atmosphere was incredible. I would in particular like to thank the crew working in the pool bar and restaurant - I made some great friends here. They made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed at all times. Their friendliness is the reason why I'm already booking a room here for next summer. I look forward to visiting Paros Bay again next year. A single week was simply not enough, so I'll be staying longer the next time.

GermanyWe loved the location, the room, the option for a massage or facial, the complimentary breakfast, a great outdoor gym, and big pool with views of the sea. We also ate dinner one night at the restaurant which had views overlooking the water and the food was very good. The hotel was able to secure us an ATV for a day which was great! The taxi service provided was very nice and always on time.
