Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomOur room was on the top floor and we had heavy luggage. It was a challenge to carry it. Wish there was a lift. We had dietary requirements so we had to cook our own food. The kitchen was very minimalist for our requirement. No microwave or toaster. This might not be a problem for those without dietary requirements. Ac only in one bedroom. So the other room got hot in the night. We went during hot season. Wish there was atleast a fan in the other room
The rooms were clean and good size and bright. The beds were cosy. Peaceful locality. Good parking space. The host was very friendly and always had a beautiful smile.

SloveniaThe only comment I would have is that there are not enough parking spaces in relation to the number of apartments they have, and there is no public parking nearby. Everything else is really great.
Since my partner and I attended a wedding in the city of Pula, we needed accommodation only for one night, and since we were very impressed with the accommodation, we think to visit it again for a longer period. We were welcomed by two very friendly hosts and we felt really welcome. A very nice apartment, spacious with a large enough balcony. Everything very clean and maintained. Very comfortable beds. Really great.

CroatiaI can't say that it's something we didn't like but the parking space is a bit narrow and while we were kindly requested to make sure that we park between the lines and pay attention so other guests have room to park, it looks like for some other guests it was a bit hard task to handle so we ended up literally crawling out of the car. But it's not something that I would give lower rating for, just a heads up for the host and especially guests to consider how much room will they leave for others to park comfortably.
The hosts were very pleasant and joyfull for the whole time. The complete apartment was clean and comfortable. The breakfast is something you don't want to skip! - Check the photo for reference. We have ordered the "Heavy one" and it was a blast!
