1) No air fan in washroom/bathroom. No body lotion for guests. 2) Having bar soap and mouth wash would be nice. 3) Construction drilling before 8 am was a bit annoying.

The bathrooms were quite dated compared to the bedroom and there was a bit of a strange smell.

Bart at reception was so friendly and accommodating, helping us organise spa access and a late checkout. The lobby and the room were clearly recently renovated and had a great modern vibe. The room had a kettle and free coffee and tea which is always appreciated. I also heartily enjoyed the hot tub, heated pool and cold plunge in the spa, which was very modern and dimly lit in the most relaxing way. Despite missing breakfast, the hotel went out of its way to accommodate us with lunch at the spa and I had a delicious burger before checking out. Parking was free and plentiful.

I wish that they had an ice machine on at least one floor of the hotel.

The room was clean and the staff was lovely. I appreciate how observant the staff at the hotel was, especially the cleaning staff. When they realized that we had two extra people (children) in the room, they provided extra towels and mugs.

Small lobby and restaurant are one and the same space. Waiting guests and groups hanging out and drinking in the lobby while others are trying to have diner. The dood was more than OK. And the personnel friendly and helpful.

We were able to use the spa because of time. Parking was very small and congested. We had to carry our bags up a long hill to get into the hotel.

There was only one pillow per person and we found quite a few small hairs in the sheets, which made it feel unclean. Overall cleanliness could be improved.

The spa was really nice and relaxing, we only went once and paid about £15 each for the day which was worth it.

We arrived late from the airport and the restaurant closed the kitchen at 9pm so it was only possible to eat a pre packaged sandwich.

I would have loved to go for the hotel breakfast but it was just so expensive. We had to go with alternatives, but food in general in Iceland is super expensive so it's not just this hotel.

It was pretty perfect! Super clean, comfortable rooms and smooth check in/out process. Had no issues at all and was very happy with everything provided. Staff were lovely and helpful. Location was great with buses nearby and a nice walking route to the city centre also nearby if you are up for a longer walk along the shore. Very handy free on-street parking available right outside the hotel. Very easy to access main roads for driving out of the city on day trips etc.

Due to festive holidays a lot of local restaurants were closed. The hotel advertised that the restaurant closed late but we found the kitchen had closed when we returned which meant there were limited snacks for our evening meal.

Lovely hotel, warm and comfortable. The spa was an added bonus.

If you’re looking to be directly in the city centre it is a bit further away but there are a lot of amenities nearby so it was no problem for us.

Nice facilities - spa was very clean and a good size and the food at the restaurant was delicious. Really amazing and helpful staff - we got an upgrade and it was amazing i’m very grateful! Great location as well as it was less than 10 min drive to the city centre and BSO bus terminal

Perhaps the lighting in the room could be a bit better

The staff with no doubt were absolutely amazing. Burt (reception) saw us having issues with our Transfer Company as our flight was cancelled and quickly came to help us, great customer service!
