The room was on the small side. It was adequate for our stay - 2 nights. We were out for most of the day.

The location was a bout 30 minutes walk from the city centre. However, there was a local bus running from across the road. Note, you either pay cash to driver (no change given) 750 kronas for 75 mins travel or use the bus co. App. Breakfast was good with a variety of choice.

The hotel is fine, nothing special. Not really worth the money but I guess everything is expensive in Iceland.

Breakfast was simple, I don't mind that, that's ok, but once something was gone, like eggs, they didn't top it up. If you're vegetarian, it's very limited to eat something,as they have salami, fish, caviar etc. there, but once eggs are gone, you end up with muesli.

Very nice and clean room, easy to get in, very close to Reykjavik centre.

Stayed here on our last day in Iceland after a week of driving around. A lovely little hotel quite close to the center (we walked back and forth a couple of times). Parking in front of the hotel, but there were plenty of spaces around on the streets as well. Everything was exactly as described, a lovely and comfortable room and bathroom. It was very warm, much appreciated as it was windy and cold outside. Checking-in was easy and convenient as everything was done with a passcode provided beforehand. Good breakfast.

Checking in was a little tricky as I had lost my voice, didn’t receive the door code so had to call them without much voice, and they initially gave me a code which didn’t work so I had to call them again.

Lovely place to stay and it was great that the breakfast was included. Good location and a great view of the fireworks.

The place was hot. We had to open the windows and even if its already cold outside. The cold was not going in and the fan was not helping that much. 😒. I wish the room temp was a lot better so we could have a better sleep than having to wake up in the middle of the night sweating.

I like how its close to the city center and ita clean.

Basic accommodation

The hotel is modern and it is clean , but a little basic. You are given a code that opens the main door and your bedroom door. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious. The only staff member we saw was in the breakfast room the next day replenishing the food. Breakfast was okay For us we felt it was more like a motel , and it was good for our 1 night stay, but we wouldn’t have wanted to stay longer

Didn't feel secure to open windows for fresh air due to being on lower ground floor, wouldn't be an issue on upper floors. Also would have preferred tea & coffee in room as not always available in breakfast room late at night.

Good sized room and comfortable bed. Fully equipped wetroom was an added bonus. Useful to have access to fridge and safe. Each floor has a shared seating area to relax and enjoy the views

The person in charge of breakfast was not friendly, she seemed to be in a bad mood when you asked her for something.

The hotel is nice, it is in a good location and the bed is comfortable.

Modern, clean, big TV, good breakfast, clear instuctions for check in, staff responsive to requests/queries, central location and very quiet. I would 100% stay again.
