Teeny shower had a very interesting concertina style curtain - nice hot water but really could do with an update. We had friends staying close by paying 10 euros more for a better hotel so although I was happy with a fairly basic room, it was a little steep for the price.

Location was fantastic, staff were friendly and welcoming, breakfast was delicious. Room was fairly basic but comfortable and clean.

Beds are a bit old but still confortable. Doesnt have parking but it does have a really close free parking for nights and paid by day

Very noisy because of the restaurant's kitchen/backyard until midnight, very thin walls.

The hotel is a little bit dated - as you can see from the pictures - but it is secure, clean, well located, and has everything you need for a basic stay.

The hotel is in an old building right in the middle of Stresa. Even though it overlooks the street, we couldn’t hear any noise through the night and the shutters kept the sunlight out in the morning. It’s a very short walk from Stresa pier for the ferry. The reception is actually in the restaurant but the staff were very friendly and able to balance our requests.

No vehicle access at all to hotel (don’t believe Sat Nav) A large public car park is available nearby on the lakeside, and there were plenty of available spaces when we stayed in early September but it costs 14€ per day and not ideal for unloading luggage. No lift in the hotel. Fortunately we were only on the first floor. No idea if the staff would help with luggage if you couldn’t manage but they were very helpful in other respects so possibly.

Centrally located in Stresa, right in the heart of the town with restaurants and shops immediately to hand. Very nice, helpful staff and a lovely breakfast.

Walking up three levels of stairs. It's an old building so no lift and no parking on site but free parking close by. As I booked the same day I can't really complain they have rooms on lower floors too but as we were last minute just glad we got a room. The shower had no pressure but am probably just being picky I loved the place and would return!

Full of Italian charm & character. Very welcoming and understanding of dietary requirements. Great food!

Room felt out of date, no fridge or air conditioning, which would have been useful in the hot weather. There was a fan in the room which we were thankful for.

Great location in the centre of Stresa, the only staff member we saw was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely. There was a room we could leave bags in before it was time to go for our train.

As per other review comments you could hear the people having dinner outside but they didn't go very late and we soon got use to this.

The staff were really helpful and friendly. We stayed for multiple days and didn't expect our room to be serviced each day but it was and this was a pleasant surprise.

Bit noisy at night as in busy area.

Great location in Old Town, close to ferry pier. Staff were helpful & friendly. Breakfast was lovely & the hotel restaurant served up some great dinners. Would stay here again.
