Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Many thanks to the receptionists in both shifts, they were really nice and positive, which made our stay even better. I would definitely come back! :)

CanadaRoom was very small with nowhere to sit except on the bed. Could not open the bathroom door with my suitcase open or n the floor(nowhere else to put it). Room was OK for 1, but would be hard for 2,although there are 2 single beds. Room was in the basement with a tiny window high up on the wall. Would be impossible to exit the room in case of emergency if the stairs were blocked.

IrelandThe accommodation was expensive, but there were no cheap accommodation options in the location I wanted, and this option was one of the cheapest options on the day. I was unable to avail of breakfast due to the room being full. I had a trip to the flower festival and was unable to wait for space to become available. Luckily I didn’t pay for it in advance.
The location was ideal. It was really close to Amsterdam Central Station. The room was comfortable. There were plugs for charging my phone. The staff were friendly. The following morning, I was within walking distance of the “This is Holland” building, where I had to go for a trip I booked.

IrelandHotel was lovely, staff very friendly and helpful. Bed was a little soft for my sore back but it was a decent hotel and if going again id deffo stay again. It caters for breakfast and not lunch or dinners but you can order off places or bring food back to hotel. Can highly reccommend this hotel as i really liked it.
This hotel is near central station, close to everything and good walking distance to shops, restuarants, walking distance to coffee shops, trams, train station and bus stops. Also download bolt or uber for reasonable taxis. Very bolt very useful especially when going out of central station to see ajax stadium or visiting artis zoo. Highly reccommend the zoo it was amazing.

The room was as we would expect, clean and everything that was needed including toiletries towels hairdryer etc. tea and coffee making facilities in the room but no milk had to ask at reception, also had to request more toilet roll. city tax charged at hotel was a lot more for this room than others had paid. IrelandBeds kept separating, sheet and duvet kept coming off, in the morning one of our lockers was soaked from a leak in the ceiling. Thankfully we didn’t have phones or iPads there. Shower cut in and out and was a terrible smell from shower drain.

It was a lovely little hotel, we booked a room with 3 beds for the family. It was very spacious and clean and the beds and pillows were so comfortable. Coffee and tea making facilities were offered in the room which was a bonus. There was also a safe and a hairdryer. The bathroom was very clean and a very nice modern room with walk in shower. Toiletries were also available.
