Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Good choice at breakfast albeit it was extremely busy on the morning of Saturday and Sunday and we struggled to find a table. This maybe due to the Stockholm Marathon taking place on the Saturday. We also thought the room 333 was a little small, however didn’t matter to much as we weren’t in it, other than sleeping and getting ready for the days Great location though and would stay at the Clarion again.

United KingdomDecor was dark, quite depressing and in need of an upgrade. The lifts were far too small, slow, and too few for the number of guests staying at the time. It was quicker to use the stairs. When leaving with our bags, we had to wait a long time to get a lift empty enough to fit us in.
Excellent location and we could easily walk to all the important parts of the city we wanted to visit. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good, despite it being packed with many runners for the marathon.

Dog friendly hotel. Very good breakfast buffet with a lot of variety - even an option to have an omelet made for you on the moment. Nice location at a walking distance from the central train station. Very nice and helpful staff. Auto check-in option to skip the potential queue at the reception. Comfortable and clean room.

United KingdomThe only thing I didn't really like was the sofabed. It was really just a regular sofa made into a bed and thus not the comfiest. For the price we paid for the room, I'd expect all beds to be up to a certain standard.
The breakfast blew me away with its vast variety of items, and I kept waiting for each morning just to have it! I was also impressed how the marketing department realised the weekend is for Swifties and had come up with special events and arrangements. All staff was also friendly and helpful. The location is right next to tunnelbana but also a nice walk away from the centre.

We were already checked in when new people were given access to our rooms. Also we were locked out of our rooms multiple times due to keys not working. This was not secure.

IrelandNot really a complaint- just for info purposes. The basic room is very compact with a small bed that is against the wall . We upgraded to the next size for a small fee.
Location was good - either a short walk to centre or metro station right beside the hotel. Very friendly, helpful staff. Excellent choice for breakfast . Very clean. Comfortable beds with nice fluffy pillows.

United KingdomThere was no safe in the hotel room which would have been useful. When we stayed 2 out of 3 lifts were out of order and we were told they would be fixed after we left. Would be issue for some people as they need a lift, and the one that worked took a while to get to your floor everytime.
Hotel is well located by the metro station (very easy to use transport system), but also within walking distance to the town hall (about 10 mins) and old town (about 20ish minutes, but we mostly used the metro for this). Also there’s a co-Op opposite as well as an espresso house which we made use of. I was very impressed with the breakfast the hotel offered, lots of stations and nice food for everyone. The gym was decent and well-equipped, considering it is temporary at the moment (spring 2024). We had a family room which was plenty of space for 3 people (although shower room was on small size, but nice size shower)
