Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IrelandThe room closest to the bathroom was way too hot and we just couldn’t sleep. Maybe great for people who are used to sleeping in 22, 23 degrees. We were absolutely exhausted the next morning.

United KingdomThere was no kettle in our bedroom, and so we used the kitchen in the breakfast room. We were welcome to take our own breakfast in there, and our host made us coffee, even though we didn’t pay for breakfast.
We were warmly welcomed and felt very safe and comfortable. The Penzion is right next to the train station. Our room was lovely. We liked this place so much we stayed for an extra night, in a smaller room, which was interesting, too. The town has lots of great walking trails, and the very cheap train can bring you back.

HungaryGreat location at the railway station. The breakfast for 6 EUR is a bargain. The place has a slightly run down feeling, but for the money they charge it is an excellent choice, I mean you cannot expect Ritz for 50 EUR for two persons per night.... The family room was spacious clean and comfortable. They have an own parking place that by itself would spare you 10 EUR per day.

PolandThe breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The staff was very nice and friendly and, what is quite an important "pro" for me, they were all "kids friendly" (given the fact they seemed to manage both the hostel and their own kids :). The location was in a centre of Stary Smokovec, very convenient, close to a mountain railway station to Hrebienok and to a "regular" railway station. I really liked it.
