Nothing in particular. If they want to upgrade anything, they could look into changing the nightstand lamps to ones with USB ports on them. But it's not necessary since there were electrical outlets easily accessible behind the nightstands.

Pleasantly surprised. It was nicer than I expected for a value inn. It had everything we needed for a two night stay- refrigerator, coffeemaker, microwave, and tv. They even provided a couple of snacks in the room. It is an older building but the room (#21) seemed well maintained. The bed was comfortable, plenty of fluffy pillows. The towels were nice and thick, unlike most that you find in inexpensive hotels. It's conveniently located across from the Del Monte Shopping Center and within a mile of the highway on-ramps.

A chair or two to sit outside on sunny days

Free Wi-Fi. Refrigerator a microwave and coffee maker. Clean rooms we stayed two weeks and staff was wonderful. Del Monte mall is across the street. Nice stores and good restaurants Daily water bottles and granola bars 😃

I didn't like that they made it difficult to send back items we left behind. I could not even find a way to do what they expected, so my husband had to spend $60 on gas to drive 240 miles to retrieve objects of sentimental value. They should have offered to get a box so that I could have just scheduled a UPS pick-up. They could also sign up for one of the shipping services that works with hotels and customers.

I liked the central location, comfortable beds, clean room, coffee maker, fridge (although it froze everything), heater, free water bottles (but our room didn't have the snacks like our friends' room).

Arrived on an unusually hot day so the air conditioner was a bit noisy as it rarely gets used in Monterey!

The only thing was that I paid a bit extra for the fireplace room and it didn’t work.

Nice location, great details like bottled water, granola bars, and toiletries often not included. The room was well cleaned and neat. I was impressed at the value for the price.

Started out with a friendly greeting from the manager. The check in was very fast. Went to my room and it was very clean, very comfortable and when I turned out the Lights at night time. I had a little hard time going to sleep. Because believe it or not, it was very quiet. The room was perfect for 2 people. Add all the in little melodies. And was beautifully decorated. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Second floor room. The stairs were very steep and a bit rickety. Use of old fashion keys and only one to a room.

The mattress was hard and uncomfortable plus the detergent they use made me itchy I had to buy my own sheets and blanket and the mattress was lopsided when I woke up my head was hanging off the bed
