It was under renovation and the room I paid for was overbooked

The hotel was overpriced. The vibe and decor was average and did not exceed anything above Hampton Inn

The room did not have a full length mirror which would have been very helpful when getting ready. There was also no closet to hang items in. The room did have a steamer but no ironing board which would have been convenient as there was nothing to hang the clothes up on to steam. Also the bathroom lighting was very poor. There was no light in front of the mirror but a dim one off to the side. We were informed that the hotel was undergoing renovations and maybe this will something that will be fixed. The television in the bedroom was also outdated.

The bed was comfortable and the pillows were fluffy. There shower was nice and spacious and the water pressure was good. The room room also had plenty of space to move around.

Would have liked free self parking. Our room on 3rd floor looked at the side of building and a parking lot rather than the nice view in all other directions. Omelet texture was a little strange.

Location in downtown was close to everything. Room was relatively large, bed comfortable. Valet parking was convenient.

Breakfast was overpriced. The website said self park but it’s $25/night valet parking plus tip.

The staff were wonderful. The decor was excellent for this price point. It was a good value. Loved that it was pet friendly.

It’s not that I didn’t like it, the decor was interesting but not as interesting as some other hotels we had stayed at recently. ie bathroom wall color w/ tile in bathroom & accent wall in room seemed not the correct shade of periwinkle in keeping with the rug color.

Breakfast was a bonus. Breakfast staff was efficient & nice. Valet parking staff was AMAZE BALLS!!! On top of it and we made multiple trips per day during our 4 day there.

There was mold & mildew in the shower and the room didn't seem very clean overall; dust, etc.

All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We liked that we were able to walk most places we wanted to go. The bed was comfortable and the view from our room was pretty!

Nice hotel, but quite expensive for the area and make sure to get a room not facing the highway

The hotel room faced a highway so there was a lot of traffic noise all day and night. Plus, there are only two elevators and the housekeeping staff uses one during the day, so wait time for the elevator was quite long many times throughout the day.

The room was comfortable, a good size and clean, but it faced a highway so there was a lot of traffic noise all day and night. Location is good, but not great.

We had an issue with the parking service. We arrived last Sunday 10/15 and had Bernie park our rental car. We had no scratches on the car when we dropped it off. We didn’t use the car during our stay. After our breakfast and checking out on 10/17, Alex brought us our car with a huge scratch on the rear passenger door. We told him that wasn’t there when we brought it in. There was no notation about any damage when we checked in because there wasn’t any. Alex stepped away inside and showed us a ticket with a mark on it (as if to note the scratch was on the car). At no time were we notified when we dropped off car with Bernie that such a ticket existed. The ticket we received # 613285 had no such marking nor were we ever contacted after dropping off the car that there was any damage. We left the hotel to make our way to RDU to catch our flight home to CA but called the hotel and spoke with Michael who advised us to contact Dorian Jones of the Valet Management Co. We called 3 times on the 17th and 2 times from CA the following day leaving messages requesting a return call without a response. This experience was truly disappointing.

Breakfast was decent for the price. The location was fine.

The accommodations are extremely dated and worn. The mattress on the sleeper sofa was gross—the sofa itself was extremely old and worn. The rooms need painting. There needs to be deep cleaning—which hasn’t happened in a while. There need to be major renovations. The door to the balcony didn’t lock. There was an adjoining door that locked on our side but felt unsafe…

The location is good. The staff is friendly and helpful. The penthouse suites are spacious. The bathroom was ok. Valet parking is good.

Well priced in an expensive town. Great staff, large rooms.
