We went to historic attractions ( Susan B Antony Home) as well as the museum of science and several local restaurants. We were there for a few days preceding the eclipse in April. There is a lot to do in Rochester and you can get there by car or Amtrak.

Rochester offers some great restaurants and sights to see...
Rochester offers some great restaurants and sights to see even when you are just passing through the area. The Owl House was a favorite spot as was Strangebird. We also walked around the Strong Museum and the Museum of Play.

Pool and jacuzzi great fun. Breakfast perfect, which could be taken to our room. We enjoyed meeting people in the breakfast area so we stayed there to eat. Staff exceptionally helpful. Nothing too much trouble. Loved our stay!
