I have visited Tenby every year since birth.
I have visited Tenby every year since birth. Usually Kiln Park for a holiday or day visits, it’s always been a friendly quiet town. There were a few years where it attracted Hen and Stag parties, which is lovely for business but I noticed that last orders are now around 10pm which I liked as it’s now got its charm back as a family place to be. To come out of the restaurant or pub and hear the quiet sound of the ocean was lovely, there was lovely live vocalists in many restaurants and The Cove had an abba event and you could see everyone dancing having a great time so I think the balance is good. Can’t wait to return thanks Amy Moon x

Beach and town very near to rail station.
Beach and town very near to rail station. Lovely cafes, restaurants and pubs, so lots of choice. Great that they all cater for dogs with water bowls left outside for them and are allowed in some places. Beaches are great and plenty of places to sit. You can walk around Tenby quite easily. Seemed a lot cars around. Be great if they could make it pedestrian only in some places. Love the coloured buildings and the little harbour, very quaint.

Love Tenby it was dog friendly and the beaches were amazing very good atmosphere and people very friendly glad I had self catering though because the restaurants were pricey, so we cooked own food in the flat, other than that , it was perfect and we had a lovely time we did have some problems with the TV could not get the sound on but worked it out after, had to use the sound system underneath the TV but we would love to stay there again and thanks from Anne and alan and Milo.

There are a lot of boarded up shops obviously the impact post Covid many businesses have Closed. The railway station from which I embarked was a disgrace no adequate disability access particularly for visual or hearing impairment , if you have to get across the tracks to access the platform for the return trip. no toilet. Generally looks a very unloved station so not a good way to be greeted when you arrive but generally there are still a good range of shops tea rooms and places to eat.

We generally stay in Tenby around 5-6 times a year.
We generally stay in Tenby around 5-6 times a year. It is quite local to where we live and the most beautiful place ever, Amazing place, friendly locals, good food, shops and amazing beaches. We could not ask for more.
It was a total surprise how nice it was. Reading the mixed reviews I thought I would give it a try as it was a good price. Glad I did. It's location is on the seafront and you can walk easily to the attractions and shops.
The place does need to be refurbished in the communal areas but my bedroom was big, modern and comfortable
The tea a coffee was replenished daily.
The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was far the best I had for taste and value for money in the three hotels I stayed at on my trip.
Really good value for money
The staff were absolutely amazing, very friendly, helpful and cheerful. They most certainly made up for the dissapoining aspects of the stay. Our room was fairly large and even without sea views still had great views. The lift was the main reason we booked this hotel (along with parking that was no longer an option after booking) and although not 100% disability friendly it was manageable with just a couple of steps here and there. Breakfast was lovely and the views from the dining area are amazing
Absolutely stunning location, a lovely warm welcome to Tenby, the guest house has a lovely cosy feeling, the rooms are perfect for what you need, the standard of bed linens and complementaries in the room are exceptional for the price. Nothing is too much to ask for here, stocks are replenished at your wish. Everything is organized to a T, and the breakfast baskets are the icing on the cake. Exceptional value for money from start to finish. Thank you so much for a lovely weeks stay.
The hotel was in a fantastic location. Very central to shops/bars/restaurants. We had plenty of space in the room and the bed was comfy. Room was clean and tidy.
Jack, on reception, was a very friendly helpful guy and nothing was too much trouble for him. Always makes the stay more pleasurable if the staff are friendly.
Myself and my partner will definitely book this hotel again next time we decide to visit Tenby.
The feel and atmosphere of this well positioned hotel is excellent. The fixtures fittings and furniture or of a high standard. It was also tastefully decorated for the Christmas period. Our room was spacious with a wonderful view over Tenby's harbour area.
We decided to dine at the hotel in the evening and was were not disappointed as the food was excellent.
Nothing appeared too much trouble for the staff.
Location was excellent as the apartment is situated in the middle of town with easy walking distance to shops, seafront and harbour.
Very pleased that the property came with parking.
The apartment was very quiet. Not sure if there was anyone else in the building as we didn't hear anyone.
The bedroom was dark, so good night's sleep.
Kitchen was well equipped.
We liked the lighting in the kitchen.
Room was spacious, maybe a little bit dated but nice and clean. The location is amazing, right in the middle of Tenby and just steps away from all the shops and restaurants and the sea front. Staff were super friendly, we struggled to find anywhere to eat - all restaurants were fully booked for dinner, so on both nights at the last minute they found us a table,
Loved everything about this b&b. Lovely friendly hosts. Excellent food. Stayed in room 3. Very nice big spacious room with a sofa. Got very warm in there but we had a big fan to keep us cool. 5 mins from centre and short walk down to the harbour. If we went to Tenby again would definitely stay at the beachcomber again. Thankyou Sharon & Andrew
We loved the fact that it was an easy walk into town and parking at the hotel was more than adequate. We also were very pleased with the breakfast and the pub food. The breakfast was excellent and so elegant. The food at the pub was the best we had in England and Wales.
Good location to the town and parking and breakfast was fine. The property is absolutely great to stay in as long as you accept that it's basic accomodation with no frills.
Tenby does tend to be expensive so bearing this in mind the property offers good value for money.
Lucy & Neale where fantastic hosts and could not of been more helpful, breakfast was lovely, room was very clean and spacious. Sleepy Puffin is in a great location 5 mins from Tenby centre and with parking added this made a really great weekend away, highly recommended.
Location overlooking the sea is absolutely spot on. Its an easy work right into the harbour area of Tenby and all the beaches. Although parking at the hotel is limited there is a huge carpark just over the road which is very cheap.
Spacious, beautiful room with fantastic ocean view. Parking was free and easily available on the street. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Possibly the best hotel room I’ve ever had.
We truly enjoyed our time in Tenby. Apartment is comfortable and well equipped with everything you need, including beach towels. The pool is nice to have just next door. Our family loved the place!
Lovely spacious room with a large bathroom, located within walking distance of Tenby for restaurants and beaches, with parking and we could bring the dog, a very homely and friendly place to stay
Every member of staff was amazing - credit to the hotel 😊 Room extremely clean, shower great, furniture did what it says on the tin! Breakfast plentiful. Beautiful location right on the beach.
Easy access to the delightful town of Tenby with parking ( a real bonus) lovely bedroom and the most fabulous hosts imaginable . Great cooked breakfast each morning too, will definitely return.
Nice location only 5 mins drive from Tenby seafront. Had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay with a small dog. Lots of space throughout the house.
