Feels like a fake town built for rich people to park their yachts and Bentleys in, then go shopping for label goods. No cool bars, boutiques, or lively places. Just endless brand stores and restaurants with white tablecloth service. If you're looking for real Sardinia, look elsewhere.

Porto Cervo was very beautiful. we went there end of April and it was a bit too quiet, not all restaurants, clubs etc were open. however we had the beautiful beaches to ourselves and you can still find other things to do ( wine tasting in the vicinity, rent a boat, horse riding etc.

Porto Cervo is the heart of the Costa Smeralda.
Porto Cervo is the heart of the Costa Smeralda. While the jet setter heydays of the 60's to 80's is long past, the town retains its charm with beautiful homes and shops. A visit to the Costa Smeralda in the off season, like we did in September, avoids the mass tourists and overly expensive hotels and restaurants. The beaches are magnificent and the entire area is a feast for the eyes. There is lots to do, scuba diving at Orso Diving in Poltu Quatu, or chartering a boar at Poltu Quatu Charter. A drive to Palau and the ferry to La Magdalena shows you even more of the splendour of this utterly beautiful part of Sardinia. But make no mistake, Sardinia has far, far more to offer than the Costa Smeralda. But it's a great place to begin to discover the magical island that is Sardinia. I've been coming here for almost 40 years and relish every opportunity to enjoy its sunshine and beaches.

Very expensive purpose built resort which was very quiet out of season. Several restaurants/bars/shops were closed but we were aware of this when we booked.
Very pretty setting and a great base for exploring the Costa Smerelda.
What a hidden gem this place is.
Right on the beach with the view of Porto Cervo and sunsetting behind Porto Cervo. Living room and balcony is amazing. We booked this for 2 families. Just perfect. Enjoyed eating on the balcony - very spacious. Kids went swimming on the beach while we cook. The beach was mainly private for us.
Crystal clear waters.
Perfect for us. 5-10 mntes drive to town. There's shops around but expensive so we drove 30mints to Olbia town for groceries.
Amazing location.
Bedrooms are okay - clean, bed comfort 8/10.
premises are prettily decorated, very cozy and comfortable, a charming pool with a bar serving drinks, excellent breakfast at a beutiful restaurant, nice views, helpful staff who made restaurant reservations. room was very good size and had a small and lovely terrace. transfer to the beach with the hotel’s van is very convenient, and the availability of beach towels, for free, were a plus (we stayed at other 4* hotels in Sardinia that charged for the towels). the hotel offered a breakfast box the day we had to check out really early
I stayed at the Colonna Resort for just one night during my work tour around Europe. Thanks to my job, I regularly stay in 5-star hotels, and I must say that the Colonna Resort offers unbeatable value for money. Considering the cost compared to the average hotels in the area, it's perfect. I chose it because of its very high Wi-Fi score, and I must say I wasn't disappointed, quite the opposite. I believe I'll be returning with my family next year to explore more of this beautiful location.
This place was an excellent choice of our holiday in Sardegna! It met all our expectations for a week in Costa Smeralda. It is spacious with an amazing terrace and lovely garden. Pietro and his mother are wonderful hosts to take care of everything. Great location to magnificent beaches (Capriccioli, Pevero, Golfo Aranci and many more) and must see villages (San Pantaleo, Luogosanto, Arzachena, San'Antonio di Gallura, Tempio). The house was the cleanest place we have ever been so far!
The property was well maintained. The pool area was lovely. The staff were exceptional, friendly, and accommodating. The property location was wonderful… close to Marina, great views, offered a free ferry service ( from Marina) to Porto Cervo Village. We had a fabulous time/ stay. A car is a must to visit the many impressive and picturesque beaches/ parts of Sardegna.
Beautiful hotel, small, intimate and immaculately finished. Rooms comfortable, good breakfast selection. Located close to the Marina and about 15 minute walk to Porto Cervo. The staff were really helpful and friendly and nothing was too much bother.
Great location right in the middle of Costa Smeralda, not far from Porto Cervo. Great facilities including the pool. Got a room upgrade and complimentary access to their beach (which you otherwise have to pay for a bed)by the helpful receptionists.
Excellent Hotel, views and room are incredible, breakfast was delicious, great coffee too. Like the vibe of the music down by the pool. And bar service at happy hour was great. Plus, the clientele at the hotel were fun to meet.
We stayed our last night in Sardinia here. The room is cosy, but a little old fashion. The bed comfortable. Bathroom and shower fine. Very nice breakfast. WIFI Ok. Free parking. The staff are very polite, efficient and helpful

The location was perfect, with a beautiful view of the waterfront and the host could not have been more helpful. Gave us some excellent recommendations not just for the area but other parts of Sardinia.
Very helpful staff, superb buffet Brekky, extremely clean! Great gym with a reformer machine - I loved!! Good spot surrounded by the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia.
