Friendliest of Staff. Great food. Best night of music in the bar. Could not have been any better.

Great location for exploring the area
Good breakfast (especially as the host states breakfast not provided - don't do yourself down Vicky, it isn't always about a cooked/fry up breakfast) we loved the choice and plenty of it!
The decor, surroundings, car park and just ambience was fabulous .... felt completely chilled out
Great eateries in walking distance of the accommodation
Vicki the owner is so lovely - personable and professional .... made it feel like 'home from home'
Facing Cork City Hall, the Clayton Hotel Cork overlooks the River Lee. It offers beautifully designed air-conditioned rooms, a health and spa centre with pool, and a fine restaurant.

We remembered to pay extra and book a room that had a real window and didn't overlook the reception area.

Blarney made a great post for us to adventure around the south of Ireland. We spent 5 days here bouncing from Cork to the coast and in between. It is small and quiet but charming. There is plenty to visit in the town so we did spend a whole day here as well visiting the castle and local shops.

Blarney is a wonderful little town.
Blarney is a wonderful little town. We enjoyed eating at Muskerry Arms Bar and Christy's Bar while we were there. Everything was walkable and felt very safe. We also bought a few items from Blarney Woolen Mills. This store offered the most Irish wool clothing of anywhere we saw throughout our tour of the country.
We also visited Blarney Castle and grounds. The gardens around Blarney Castle are incredible. There is so much more to see here than we expected. Our trip was in March, so we needed to wear a light winter jacket, but that also meant there were no lines for kissing the stone and touring the castle.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly. However, facilities were poor with no on-site restaurant after 4pm, reception area small, food only available in the pub next door. Fine for a business trip but not for a holiday, very basic.

It is a fab hotel but there is something going on with the lift. Every time we got into the lift there was a really bad smell. It smelt like sewage . When we were leaving that morning it was really bad. Other than that l had no complaints . Very happy.

The hotel was lovely.
The hotel was lovely. I was there during a very warm spell so opened the window for air. Unfortunately since my room also overlooked the parking lot, there was noise and light pollution. This would not have been a problem though, but for the open windows.

Lots to see here in addition to the castle.
Lots to see here in addition to the castle. There was no wait line to see the stone and I still spent about two hours looking around the castle and grounds. Note there is a considerable climb up a tight, circular, old stone staircase to get to the stone! But you can see most of the castle without climbing.
Very clean and pleasant breakfast room. Great choice of breakfast food which was served to the table by friendly staff. Food was freshly prepared and cooked. Our bedroom was stunning, quality furnishings, well appointed with a super comfy bed. The evening food was served in the hotel bar amid a great atmosphere and attentive service. The meals were tasty and reasonably priced. Car parking was immediately outside the hotel. Blarney is such a characterful place and I highly recommend a visit.
Loved our stay here, perfect location with Car Park at the back. We only stayed for one night but should of stayed for two. Breakfast was included which filled us up for the day and we also got dinner in the hotel which was YUMMY. Also the restaurant Manager Mo made our stay more special - he couldnt of done anymore for us and we would call back again to see him. We stayed on the All Ireland Final and from Limerick there was a great buzz & atmosphere in the hotel. Highly recommend
Such a cute little place right in town square. Little shops all around. The blarney castle is right across the street.. I was worried about noise with my room being directly above the bar but couldn't hear anything.. the staff was super nice and helpful. The morning breakfast selection was great and delicious. The fish and chips was huge and excellent. A centra store is right next door. Blarney woolen mills is a block away. It's a one stop shop for a night in Blarney.
This hotel was our favorite during our trip to Ireland. The lobby was grand and the rooms were of adequate size and very clean. The hotel staff were friendly and were very helpful. The hotel sits on the grounds of the Blarney castle and everything was in walking distance. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. We can’t wait to return to Ireland and we would absolutely come back to the Blarney Woolen Mills.
Absolutely everything about this place was fantastic. The decore, the owners, the quality of the rooms, the spacious grounds, the attention to detail was incredible. Had I known I would have booked a longer stay.
Great place to visit Blarney or even plan a small wedding! Even their water tasted better than usual.
We traveled all over Ireland and this B&B was our favorite.
The location was excellent. 5 minute drive from the Castle and Blarney Village.
Breakfast was perfect and filled us for the whole day!
Siobhan was the perfect hostess, extremely helpful with regards to places to eat in the evening and genuinely interested in us and our trip.
Will be back there again on our next trip to the area.
Breakfast was exceptional. The bed was very comfortable. It was like staying in a beautiful estate. The owner and hosts were extremely friendly, and made us feel very welcome. It was very quiet and the location was excellent in relation to the Blarney in Castle in Gardens. The price was fantastic and yes, highly recommend it.
Book early. So the suite of 2 bedrooms came available unexpectadly, so we were lucky. Hotels in cork were 400 for 1 night for one bedroom and we got 2 with à kitchionette. The beds are comfy, it has its own door, parking and the host vicky leàves you alone. Its close to a garage wìth hot food which opens at 6am in blarnèy
Owners are absolutely wonderful and had set up a complimentary breakfast in the kitchenette. Would absolutely recommend for couples (or solo travelers) who want to see Cork and surroundings but prefer greener areas than the city. Blarney is lovely and the accommodation is a 15-20 minute drive from Cork City Hall
This is a lovely hotel located in the center of the city walking distance to the Blarney Castle, a park, a convenience store and a lovely pub. The food was wonderful at the pub. We sat by the fire to warm up had a pint of Guinness a bit to eat and watched football on the large tv.
Such a lovely stay in Blarney right next to Blarney castle and short travel from Cork city. Great hosts. Lovely house, easy to find. Plenty of groceries in the kitchen to compose a tasty breakfast from. Definitely recommend.
Great directions to the property and how to get in. Very comfy beds, and nice decoration. Parking right in drive of property. Very close to Blarney town centre and great recommendation for dinner at the Castle hotel.
It’s just a few minutes walk from the entrance to the Blarney castle/gardens.
The hotel building itself is impressive. Beautiful lobby. Nice restaurants and shops within the same building complex.
Nicely self contained. Good selection for self serve continental breakfast. Cutlery and plates for eating a takeaway dinner from Blarney Village eateries. Good parking. Friendly host.
This property was perfect for a night stay over before heading into Dublin. The best part was the food, and the people. Not to mention the close proximity to Blarney castle.
