Perfekt place to get away from the hustle & bustle of the city and relax in nature. The room was large and spacious (Family room) We loved the Aesthetic interior in the rooms and outside. Enjoyed a great time at the beach (at low tide). Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Amazing breakfast, very tasty food… we loved the Tuna steak.

The stay at Zan View Hotel was an amazing experience. View to the ocean from the 1st floor is amazing, the food is delicious, however, the best part of this object is its staff, especially the manager Frank :) Highly recommand !

I loved the colour, clarity and temperature of the water.
I loved the colour, clarity and temperature of the water. The sand was so soft and almost white. I didn't like the hassle on the beach though. It was easier to stay at the hotel to avoid it. But that's not why you visit another country!

Quiet part of the island with beach among the nicest.
Quiet part of the island with beach among the nicest. That meant fewer people and tranquility which was what I was looking for during that trip. The hotel was also exactly what I need. All the facilities (gym, massage, sports activities) + excellent food at a reasonable cost. And Fatma the day manager was great. A wonderful person and soul

The restaurant and other staff were extremely courteous and helpful in all circumstances.
The Food and Beverager Manager Zablon is a kind and focused man, results oriented.
The hotel is a true gem. It is on the southern part of Kiwengwa village, which is very calm and has a beautiful beach right in front. The property has a very nice beach area with hammocks, loungers and mattresses where you can hang out at the beach the whole day.
The food was exceptional, portion size and taste wise. And not to forget the staff, who were all very kind, attentive and made sure we enjoyed our stay. We fully recommend staying at this hotel in this beautiful hidden gem part of the island.
Very nice and cozy hotel. Perfect getaway after travelling around in Zanzibar in two weeks. It was really amazing to come to a nice and clean hotel where we could relax and enjoy it. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. It was clean and we got extra blankets and pillows as requested. All in all a very nice expierence for a reasonable price.
Very very fresh and good breakfast!
Also spa and massage there was very nice. The staff was very friendly and was ready to help you at any time.
it was small & beautiful, decorated in Zanzibari style, clean & great air conditioning! It’s on the east side of the island, much quieter & secluded than Stone Town. the staff was wonderful & respected our privacy. The food was excellent—- Italian chef cooked great dishes ( I wish he wouldn’t have yelled at his staff so much!)
They were helpful with taxis & excursions. We have no complaints at all & really enjoyed our time there, we also felt very safe!
Excellent property and Alice from the Zanzibar Houses Office management was very easy to deal with. Suleyman was accessible throughout the stay and Sule (the stay-in security guy) was also respectful of our requests for privacy as a family. Rahmah the cleaning lady was amazing and the property was super clean everyday. Chef was also accommodating of our requests and made some excellent pancakes. If you like sunsets, it is a dream come true! :-)
The best experience in Zanzibar at Boho Boutique Hotel!! Amazing location right on the beach, above all my expectation!!! The rooms are very modern, comfortable and clean! Even the breakfast was an amazing experience with homemade bread and sweets!!! The beach very clean and the infinity pool is outstanding. It seems like 5* hotel way above our expectation. We highly revommend this boho style small hotel and definitely will come back again!
Perfect Start for our Trip around the island. small Hotel, authentically runned in Perfect Spot directly by the Beach. staff is very friendly and Helpful but without being pushy.
Special thanks to Arnold for his excellent service. Always having a smile for all of the guests and helping with his straight tips.

If we travel to zanzibar again, we will Come back!
Our stay at Z-Lodge hotel was really great. The food and cocktails were delicious and satisfying, with each meal leaving us impressed. The ocean's colors during high tide were a sight to behold, adding to the overall experience. Our room was interesting, featuring old Zanzibarian antique furniture that gave it a unique feel. It was a fantastic choice for a relaxing retreat for my husband and me.
I stayed in la base for 5 and the experience has been great. The place is really clean and comfortable. The restaurant is located right in front of the beach so you'll definitely have a relaxing time while enjoying your meal and drinks. Thanks to the hosts Cris and Luca. They were really cool. This place is a must when you're in kiwengwa.
Very cozy hotel with amazing and very friendly staff and hosts. The room was very spacious with clean linens and good pressure in the shower. Breakfasts were amazing and here they can make good espresso as well. The swimming pool and some shadows around it could really provide some rest from the hot weather conditions on Zanzibar.
Fantastic, great value little hotel right on the beach. Clean simple bungalow rooms which open right onto the sand. Rooms are very well set up for travellers with numerous universal power points and good Wi-Fi throughout. Great tasting breakfast and other meal options. Laura, Ania and the rest of the staff were amazing.
The Beach, Friendly Staff.
Melia Zanzibar is a beautiful resort, however, for the price charged rooms needs to be of a better standard.
We have also requested for an airport pickup, which was confirmed bu the hotel. When we arrived no driver was waiting for us in the airport. hotel number wasn’t working!
Very beautiful hotel in a calm and less touristic area of Zanzibar! We had the top floor room with sea view for our honeymoon and we were amazed! The staff is also very helpful and caring, they even came to our room in the evenings to spay for mosquitos and fix the net of the bed!
It was such a wonderful stay of my life, the customer care was top notch. Victor the front office manager makes a lot of difference at Kiwengwa beach.Always available to assist.
Because of such people we cannot think twice but confirm another visit soon.
I opened the curtains and the beautiful sunrise greeted me in the morning. The area was nice and calm and relaxed and the hotel staff was very responsive especially as I had some diet related issues related to my recently finished safari trip.
It is a small oasis in Zanzibar!
We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights, but really wished we could stay more. Staff was superfriendly and helpful, food was amazing and the location is truly a gem! 100% recommend!!!
During our vacation we booked 3 different hotels for the same price per night, Marafiki was the best in terms of comfort, facilities, staff and restaurant.
Definitely recommend!
the owner of the property is one of the best person that I meet in Zanzibar.
SIMAI I'll see you again, thank you for your hospitality.
the hotel great just by the beach.
The workers were so friendly, the food was good and it was so peaceful.
Me and my wife are definitely coming back to this hotel during our next trip in Zanzibar.
Waking up to a view of the ocean from the foot of our bed, the cool pool vibe and incredible food and service made this one of our favorite stays in Zanzibar!
