Located 1.1 km from PalExpo, Maison des pilotes offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a garden. Free WiFi is featured throughout the property and private parking is available on site. Catherine and her Daughter have opened their home to strangers as they love to meet New people and are, like me, travellers at heart. The whole house is (air)travel themed and I spent an incredible lovely night with my host not only opening the door but her whole life to me. Obviously this was in no way obtrusive but left to my own choice in accepting the invitation! I came as a stranger and parted as a friend- and will most certainly be back ; )) Merci.....

Edellinen arvio, joka näkyy. on tarkoitettu aivan toiseen hotellin, mutta se on kirjautunut väärään paikkaan. Eli tämä hotelli on todella hyvä. Kaikki paikat on uusittu ja on ihan kuin olisi ensimmäinen käyttäjä. Huoneen varustus on hyvä. On espressokeitin, vedenkeitin, tallelokero. Sänky on hyvä, mutta molemmat tyynyt liian korkeita. Lähtevien lentojen ääni kyllä kuuluu, mutta siihenkin tottui nopeasti. Aamiainen maksaa noin 15 euroa, mutta se kyllä kannattaa ottaa. Siellä on kaikkea mitä toivoin. Yhteys lentoasemalta bussilla 66 Levinen pysäkille kestää noin 13 min. Hotelli on takaviistoon vasemmalla, puna-valkoinen rakennus. Hinta-laatusuhde oli loistava.

Geneve on mahtava idyllinen ranskalaishenkinen kaupunki. Luxus kellomerkit ja brändit tuovat ilmettä katukuvaan ja kodikkaat pienet kaupat ja torikojut luovat tunnelmaa ja saavat sinut tuhlaamaan taskunpohjalla lojuvat frangit. Julkinen liikenne toimii kuin unelma, ja hotellissa majoittuva saakin ilmaisen lipun loman ajaksi. Genevenjärven vesi on kirkasta kuin suomalainen hanavesi ja ympäristö pidetty tosi siistinä. Pienet laivat tarjoavat kiertoajeluita järvelle (suosittelen!). Suihkulähde Jet d'Eau hallitsee maisemaa hienoudellaan ja suihkulähteen alle voi mennä pientä kävelyreittiä pitkin ihastelemaan. Ota sateenvarjo mukaan ettet kastu ;) Suosittelen tutustumaan myös esim. YK:n päämajaan, punaisen ristin museoon ja luonnollisesti vanhaan kaupunkiin. Pienen raitiovaunumatkan päässä myös muita ihania pieniä nähtävyyksiä ja toreja.
