My partner and I booked this stay in the winter, expecting terrible weather and hoping for a place to hibernate and relax after a long year. We were not disappointed :) We particularly enjoyed the spa bath and the projector with streaming services ! The sauna too was lovely, and easy to use following the video instructions kindly sent by the host. There is also a hot tub and fireplace on the balcony. The apartment was clean and beautifully presented, and the bed was super comfortable! It was also well equipped with everything one could need - soaps, shampoo, conditioner, bath salts, hairdryer, robes and plenty of fluffy towels - tea and coffee, mini fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, portable stovetop, cutlery and plates etc We found the location to be well connected and easy to reach from Amsterdam Centraal via public transport. It is also worth mentioning that the host is very friendly, helpful and attentive! Perfect place for couples, very relaxing stay any time of year.

This place was such a surprise - we arrived and were just in awe of what felt like a little oasis. Traveling as a family, and with a small child also, the farm lodge was such an incredible escape from the hectic nature of Amsterdam while still being so easy to get to. It's literally on a an urban farm - with a couple of lovely shops for coffee/food (although not always open), animals, and lots of beautiful gardens to wander. This is such a perfect place to stay if you're looking for a quieter alternative to staying directly in the city while also having easy access to it. The owners are wonderful!

The property is In a beautiful area. And very quiet and peaceful. The host is polite friendly and informative about what there is to do and visit in Amsterdam and about the best way of getting around. We had a lovely anniversary break away.

It is so easy to visit several places from there e. g. Den Haag, Amsterdam, Alkmar … and it was easy to go to the sea. A good mix for the whole family.

great location, 4 minutes walk from the train, 6 minutes train ride to Amsterdam central station and less than 15 minutes train ride to the airport. lovely staff!!
