We were a little apprehensive about the neighbourhood after reading some of the reviews, but we ran into zero issues! Just practise caution + common sense since this is downtown LA. Apartment was spacious and comfy, we had covered garage parking in the same building accessible by lift, and overall had a super comfortable and enjoyable stay! Mike who checked us in was also super helpful and friendly. Apartment was actually at 1360 S Figueroa St Suites.

Elaine is most welcoming and our room was perfect. It is part of her family home and the bed was excellent and furnishing very quaint. There’s a large lounge room downstairs with lots of books. The street and surrounding streets are lovely with a heritage listing on the area.

We spent six nights at Channel Road Inn with our small family. Location is awesome as the beach is just few blocks away, the neighbourhood is quiet and Santa Monica downtown is in walking distance. Breakfast was great and varying every morning. Best part of the stay was the STAFF, everyone was really really helpful and friendly.

Great location, very spacious and modern with a large kitchen. Secure parking. Great hosts- Great communication-very quick to respond. Lovely stay- would definitely recommend.

Luxury interiors and comfortable beds. This property exceeded our expectations. The host was very communicative from the moment we booked until we left and we stayed during the Christmas period. The host even put a Christmas tree and fairy lights in the apartment as an extra treat.

The apartment is extraordinary nice furnished, has a smooth access/entry process, and is in a great location with the beach in walkable distance. But best were the hosts who made everything possible to give us an amazing time in Venice Beach.
