The breakfast is particularly nice for omnivores. It was very nice that they provided soy milk. But I think the breakfast could offer a little more for vegans. However, the service was great, the compound is quiet and beautiful, including the beach. Very nice place to relax.

It is set 700 metres from Bahia Beach and features a housekeeping service. verything was so great for our stay, the hosts Kevin and Laura make you feel so comfortable and welcomed and have knowledge on everything in Cape Verde. They went absolutely above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, even leaving us some yoga mats in our room once they saw us doing yoga on the roof. The room and whole property was beautifully clean, nice hot shower in the room and good WiFi. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious and even featured home made cake. You are just 2 minutes from the beautiful beach. I’m missing it already!

Featuring city views, Apartamento Avenida offers accommodation with a balcony, around 700 metres from Praia de Diante. Lovely appartment close to the beach and the center. I arrived in the middle of the night and the owner was there to welcome me. The house is at the location of the map on booking, so easy to find. The owner is waiting at the balcony, so i found it really easy. For boa vista prices, really amazing. Yes it is a busy street, you won't find yourself on the balcony but luckily you have lots of cafes or the beach to chill. The kitchen it a bit limited, maybe a frying pan would be nice, but in the basicness you can still make everything you want (i also assume you are not going to cook all out since its a holiday). Bed is comfi and big. Its really not that hot during the night, so a fan is more than enough (i didn't even need it).

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace, Ka-Bela 2 is located in Sal Rei. The price was unbeatable, for the size of the room/location/cleanliness. The owners speak French, likely Creole and Portuguese. If you speak German it‘s s bit of a language barrier! But very, very nice couple. Sal Rei is very small, and everything is very accessible

Situated just a few steps from Praia de Chaves, Vila Mare - Praia de Chaves frontline features accommodation in Cabeçadas with access to a private beach area, a garden, as well as free shuttle... The view is amazing. The apartement is very comfortable, beautiful designed and perfectly equiped. The pickup to the apartement and back to the airport was organized for us allready. When we arrived it was exceptionally clean.

Boavista Beach Apartment is a beachfront property located in Sal Rei, 300 metres from Praia de Estoril and 700 metres from Bahia Beach. Tina was a great host. She was very kind and accommodating and I would happily stay there again as the place was very clean and tidy and well looked after.

Boasting sea views, Leben am Atlantik hautnah spüren features accommodation with a patio, around 200 metres from Praia de Diante. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony and free WiFi. What a wonderful little nest... I don't know how, but Sylvia thought of everything you might need during your stay. I was so surprised to, every time, find what I needed in this apartment : small drying rack, plug adaptor and phone chargers, several small lamps to create a reading corner. As a host myself, I can say that it is very rare to find such perfect rentals which so clearly show how much thought, care and love the host has put into designing them. The location and building is absolutely idyllic. The building is a renovated fisherman's house, and you're located in the heart of local life, not in the touristic part with impersonal hotels, witnessing the fishermen getting busy in the morning, the children playing in the streets, etc. And yet within 5 mins walking you find yourself in the very city center. This is simply a gem and, to me, the best place to stay at in Sal Rei. The studio is also guarded at night by Manuel who's an absolute delight and can help you with anything you might need. The only downside would be that this rental is not owned by a local but by a European lady, hence if you want to support the local economy and local people, this is not for you. Thanks to its location however, this rental seems to offer a perfect balance between local authenticity and modern comfort.
