But best of all, the hostel hosts Trudy and Ivan were the most wonderful people and completely made our stay. Ivan has lived his whole life on San Cristobal and worked as a fisherman, and Trudy is descended from the first descendants of Floreana Island (also in the Galapagos). They are so kind and friendly, helped us with information and recommendations, and we so appreciated getting to learn about them and their story. It is a beautiful apartment, really nicely furnished with everything we needed. There is a beautiful view of the sea and playa man, with incredible sunsets. The location is on the edge of town which we really liked, and just by the beautiful beach. The owners were incredibly helpful and kind. Highly recommended.

The property is big comfortable and well equipped. It’s super close to the airport while at the same time a short walkable distance to the boardwalk/beach. A supermarket is couple of short blocks away and Kitchen is well stocked with all basic supplies so it was very convenient to prepare breakfast/light meals during our stay.
