I made this arrangement to stay not knowing what to expect. We were late for our intended arrival, but it didn't matter. I was not aware that the code for the entrance door was sent in via email. It took me a little while to figure it out. Nice spacious place. It was too big for just two of us. The view from top floor was nice. We saw the sunrise from ocean which was really pretty. Overall, we enjoyed the stay.

This place is magical and so fun and is the perfect place for a bunch of friends to relax. Huge kitchen and lots of facilities. The bikes they supplied made it easy for us to ride back over the bridge to get a meal in town at night. You need to be quiet after 8 pm as the area surrounding is very quiet & residential, the people are living on island time and the streets are silent. It is better to get an early night here and wake up early to see the beautiful island when the sun is rising. There is so much to see and amazing sea hawks circling. We saw a very clear view of Mount Fuji from the bridge too which was something I will never forget. The capsule beds are firm but very comfortable, I slept very well and it was cool to experience capsule life. I think this place is perfect when they have the illumination events on Enoshima because you can explore and then settle down.

Jiro de kamakura asub Kamakuras, Zaimokuza rannast 1,4 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on saun, jõusaal ja konditsioneeriga majutusruumid. This was my favorite homestay in Japan. It felt more like being the guest of a friend in his house. Jiro is an amazing person. He did everything he could to make me feel comfortable and taken care of. We had great conversations. He only takes a few guests at a time so you really get peace, quiet and space. He let me use his bike whenever I needed it. I could cook my meals in the kitchen. The gym in the living room was a big plus. I came here feeling exhausted from other hostels and the city. I was able to get great rest here and feel at peace. I will absolutely be back if I am in the area.
