Gagnef is centrally located in a small picturesque village. It is not far to places like Leksand, Rattvik (great Hemslojd store with a "museum" of older folk dresses upstairs), Nusnas, Mora (Anders and Emma Zorn home), Falun (Carl and Karin Larsson home), and the like. It is very nice to walk over to the Gagnef church and the floating bridge. The staff was wonderful and helpful! We had a great stay and would love to come back!

Annika provided excellent advice and suggestions for local adventures with detailed maps, guides, and binoculars (we even saw an abandoned bear den!). - Cuisine: Chef Kjelle's cuisine was AMAZING, made from locally grown and organic ingredients. Every meal was absolutely delicious (we ate breakfasts and dinners), and special care was taken to accommodate my vegetarian diet, which I greatly appreciated. - Location: The property is ideally situated near Fulufjället National Park and other natural sites such as Nipfjället, Yxningåfallen Falls, and Tjärnvallen Falls. We enjoyed exploring these stunning natural areas and were lucky to see an elk and a few reindeer. - Amenities: The bungalow we stayed in was perfectly clean and very comfortable (comfy bed, good water pressure in the shower, very spacious etc). - Communication: Clear and efficient communication via the booking.com app. Overall, we had a fantastic time and look forward to visiting again. Highly recommended for those seeking a peaceful retreat in nature with wonderful hosts and delicious food.

A classic Swedish cottage in the heart of Sweden hosted by the kindest couple. Marie’s breakfast in the morning was unbelievably delicious. What a wonderful treat it was for us to stay there.

Featuring mountain views, Lövnäs - Eget Hus utan andra gäster provides accommodation with a private beach area and a patio, around 39 km from Experium. Everything was perfect - the place, the cabins, rooms, warm, the kitchen is more than necessary, there is really everything you could need, very comfortable beds, a lot of space, nice hosts. Beautiful nature around, calm. We went skiing a little further, but the road is good, it didn't cause any problems.
