Located in Visoko, 5 km from Kranj city and 30 km from Ljubljana city, Tomas Old House - River Apartments provides free parking, free bikes and free WiFi. On this trip, we chose to have a base and explore the country from there and our choice couldn't been more right. We stayed in Tomas old house (studio) for 7 nights, and it was way better than we hoped for. The studio has everything you could need, from washing machine, to cling film and even bikes. Not to mention Tomas who is an excellent host! The studio is very well located, 10 minutes from the airport, 30 minutes from lake bled /Ljubljana. Definitely recommended if you are planning to explore Julian Alps.

Nice and kind host. He was very friendly and try to answer on all questions. Also, I appreciate his advice for places to visit, recommendations where to eat etc… Slovenia is great country, and for sure I will be back again.

And the staff… perfection, they even helped us order a pizza in the middle of nowhere, really a gem this location! Will definitely come back to this one next time I’m in the region!
