In beautiful Lakeland surroundings overlooking an idyllic brook, Glencree is situated between the villages of Bowness and Windermere. We really enjoyed our stay here, Shiralee made us feel very welcome from the minute we arrived.. she also cooks a delicious English breakfast!! Will definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Overlooking picturesque hills, Meadowcroft Country Guesthouse is a family-run guest house in the tranquil Village of Ings, 2 miles from Windermere. There is free Wi-Fi in the bedrooms. We only stated one night, but everything was terrific. The room and bathroom was very, very clean, to the point that we could have been the first ones to stay there. The bed was comfortable and warm, despite the cold and rainy weather outside. The breakfast couldn’t be faulted and I can without reservation give this place 5 stars.

The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning. Excellent!! Stars plus for breakfast 😊

Jerichos is a contemporary family-run guest house with stylish decor situated on a quiet side street in the heart of Windermere village. There is free Wi-Fi and free ample private parking. What a beautiful place to stay. Large and very well appointed rooms with everything you could need. Very comfortable large bed . Hosts were so lovely and welcoming and a delicious hot breakfast was included. Free parking as well. 2 minutes walk to the main street of the town. Highly recommended!!

Just 1 mile from Lake Windermere this beautiful Victorian house is set in a peaceful location between Windermere and Bowness. Everything in this place is exceptional and cute! The welcome snacks and breakfast are superb. The room is lovely and comfortable. Everything is thoughtful and staffs are lovely! Definitely come back!

Nastanitev The Old Rectory se nahaja v mestu Coniston, 18 km od znamenitosti jezero Windermere, in ponuja vrt, brezplačno zasebno parkirišče, skupni prostor za druženje ter teraso. Michael and Ann where the perfect hosts . Nothing was too much trouble and would meet your every need. Anne even had a birthday cake for my wife's birthday! Michael even let me try his favourite gin at breakfast! A lovely quiet calm to the house as a whole with a large bright dining room used for breakfast with wonderful view.
