The area around the flat is lively, but as the apartment itself is in a side street and the bedrooms have windows to an inner courtyard there is no problem of noise.

Located in a very clean, modern building on a quiet residential street, the spacious Chiqui Home was very convenient (on foot) to Salamanca's must-see sights, as well as an El Corte Ingles supermarket. Connecting with the hostess (who was muy simpatica) was very easy: she met us at the door and generously showed us around and instructed us on how to operate appliances, the heating system, etc. We were very impressed with the great care taken in providing a welcome basket and a bottle of chilled water, not to mention stocking the household with all imaginable necessities, including a First Aid kit. It was refreshing to encounter genuine, quality furniture rather than the standard Ikea minimalism.

Salamanca is beautiful and the lady that met us was knowledgeable about the area. Underground parking was perfect for our motorbikes, safe and secure.

The central square a must see and to eat at etc. A band stand was erected whilst we were there but performance halted due to a “pride” march. Otherwise enjoyed the visit. Hotel staff very helpful and a good choice of foods for breakfast.
