The family that runs the homestay are nice and knowledgeable and happy to give advice on my stay in Beristagi. The mum also took the time to take me along with part of her day because I was interested in shopping at the traditional market. My stay was very comfortable and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay

When you leave Smiley homestay you feel enriched, yet like you are loosing something. Meeting people like Smiley, Cecilia, their family and friends is what I travel for. The knowledge, the stories and experiences shared in these few days will stay with me forever. The tours with Smiley and Triima are so fun and authentic. If you'll come to Berastagi without staying here, you will miss out! + the breakfast is delicious and the bed very comfy.

The homestay is really nicely located and the family welcomed us with open arms :). It was no problem, finding the homestay with their instructions. The homestay is clean and the beds are comfortable. The view from the rooftop is amazing! Breakfast is made with a lot of love and is just perfect :). We really miss it! We booked a two days trips and enjoyed all of them! Sunrise hike from the vulcano is something everyone has to do :P. Especially with such an experienced and fun guide ;). We tried some local and exotic fruits, learned a lot of the village and the surroundings. In our opinion, Nachelle Homestay is perfect and totally recommended by us and we wish them the very best! This is a beautiful property and without doubt the most luxurious and well maintained property in the area. It is an escape from the busy market town, somewhere to just relax after a day exploring. We were delighted to find such a large well appointed and luxurious villa with great staff. The owner was able to accommodate a request for breakfast and organise dinners for us also (at extra cost) which was great. This property very much has an international feel to it in the way they look after you. We had not planned to spend so much time in the villa but it was so good we spend more time in than out.

We had such a great experience here that we extended our stay from planned one to two nights. Room is new, spacious and spotless clean. Flushing toilet, hot shower, sink, chairs and table, clothes dryer and not to forget very comfortable bed. View over fields and Vulcano. Possibility to sit outside. You really get hotel comfort combined with staying with a lovely family that welcomes you with open arms and really good food. Totally recommended if you don’t want/need to stay in the busy city centre.

The location is strategic, in front of 2 major hotels and resort. A lot of restaurants can be found within walking distance. The house is still well-maintained, not damp, probably because it gets a lot of morning sunshine. Bathrooms are clean.

Personalet var utrolig hyggelige og hjelpsomme. Vi meldte oss på en av de guidede turene de tilbyr, og gikk opp ‘Sibayek’ vulkanen. Betjeningen på hotellet hjalp oss også med transport til vårt neste overnattingssted i Samosir. Vil absolutt anbefales!
