The breakfast is really good, The location is nice,, it is away from the city center but still very easy to get there in few minutes by taxi or bike ( bike is provided by the hotel) we will stay here again next time we go to Hoi An

We chose this hôtel for it's closeness to the centre...it was easy to walk into the centre several times à day and yet it was also à haven of peace. The pool was lovely after à busy day and the bedroom was comfortable. The staff were so helpful..they helped us book taxis and arranged for me to have my nails done and lent us towels for our trip to the beach.

The family was really nice and welcoming. Especially Moon at the reception was very helpfull and communicating in great English. The morning breakfast is more than wort it. Fresh fruit, eggs, coffee and warm baguette - a bless. The room was cozy the bathroom is ok. 2min walk to the beach. Definitely recommend this homestay for a backpacker

It’s a 10min walk to the walking street in the old town with all the shops and restaurants nearby. Susan and her family took great care of us and helped to make the stay as comfortable as possible. She was able to provide really nice recommendations for food and shops, as her family owns some great places in Hoi An. They are definitely worth checking out! Her family helped us with everything, from getting our laundry done, to finding the best ATM without fees and having a perfectly timed transfer to the airport at our check out day. Everything went smoothly and always with a smile on her face. As you’ll notice there are tons of tailors in the city, having their shops next to each other. So good recommendations from friends are needed to decide for one in the end. We looked up several, and went to some who were recommended by our friends but in the end we decided to go to another shop owned by Susan’s Family as they were the nicest people and also had awesome fabrics to choose from. We were super happy with the results. As we didn’t want to do the classic round boat trip thing combined with a cooking class we decided to do the cooking class at her restaurant Faifoo Central which is located near a bridge in the old town. If you want to learn how to cook classic vietnamese style dishes, it’s work checking that out too. It was a really nice experience and a great way to enjoy a rainy day in Hoi An. Susan will make everything possible to make your stay unforgettable. I haven’t been so happy about a host in a long time.

Although the hotel is a bit further from the city center, it is still within walking distance, and you can easily get a bike or use a car service like Grab to explore the town. They also helped us connect with a reliable bike rental company. Overall, we had a great experience at Ivy Villa in Hoi An.
