The hosts were extremely welcoming, I've never experienced anything like it. It felt like you were staying in your own chalet with friends and family and they offered freshly cooked meals and breakfast. If you are a couple planning a few quiet days in the Swiss mountains, this is definitely the place to go, no doubt about it!

Relaxed town within easy reach of major venues. Train station is a short walk. We just spent eight days in Aigle at this wonderful BnB. At first we thought Aigle might be an odd, out of the way place to stay but it was great. It is conveniently located for getting back-and-forth through the wine country, up to Lausanne, and even out to Zermatt. We had a car, so the secure, gated parking was appreciated. The host were charming and attentive. The facilities were spotless and the beds comfortable. One of the best BnB’s we stayed at. And of course, there was Chester the black lab who greeted us gently whenever we returned …

The breakfast was a deluxe picnic basket filled with exactly what one required for a lovely, private start to the day. The two rooms were beautifully decorated, and the maid service provided a spotless refuge for us.

Château de Mathod er staðsett í Mathod á Vaud-svæðinu, 28 km frá Lausanne og býður upp á heilsulind og heitan pott. Ókeypis einkabílastæði eru í boði á staðnum. It was all perfect. The host was the most charming, helpful and kind person. Always available to help. Before showing us to our room he gave us a small tour of the space even though it was already late. Cell reception inside the room was not optimal but to me it worked wonders, less work related calls, that's why I'm not putting it in the negative. The room was perfect, super comfy and cosy. I recommend at 100% that everyone try their spa, it was the best kept spa I visited.
