Centrally located in Jinghong, within 1 km of Manting Park and Sipsongpanna Wanda Theme Paradise, Doudou Meilan Fengqing Inn offers accommodation with free WiFi. Great stuff!! Perfect hotel for us as the landlady was so helpful with translating, recommending tours, arranging things and travel. We highly recommend staying here for the reason she is really attentive and there is a cute and friendly toy poodle mei mei and they really make you feel at home and welcomed! She has unlimited tea from her tea plantation and happy to offer you real good tea in a "tea ceremony setting" and conversation which was sweet. She can help arrange travel with her brother in law who was very friendly and helpful as well which made our stay very relaxing and enjoyable. There's is local shops and restaurants we liked such as Alan's which served Thai style food and a very very good dai restaurant a few minutes walk away that serve traditional food different from the usual Chinese such as a sticky pinapple rice and food steamed in banana leaves, which we forgot the name. The rooms are very spacious and are all uniquely decorated in Laotian style decor so they're named rather then numbered and it seems there's only around 20+ rooms in the large corridor so I imagine it gets very popular during peak times. There was a personal washing machine, air con, , swinging basket chairs, tables, big windows and sectioned off area to relax and hang clothes. The bedding was comfortable and bathroom was really big with the usual amenities provided to ensure a relaxing stay. Location: Its located in a shared building space on the 6th floor opposite meinten livehouse and very Central overlooking white lotus shaped skyscrapers and temples thst come alive at night with the led lighting! Its quite central in a newer developed area with lots of local shops, restaurants and walking distance to night markets and the town square where around 7pm onwards there's amazing local ethnic groups of people playing music and dancing including fitness classes.

Only a 2-minute walk from Golden Pagoda Tower and a 10-minute drive from Sipsongpanna Monkey Mountain, XishuangBanna Elephant Home Guesthouse features ticket service at the tour desk, free Wi-Fi in... Mr. LIWEI the manager on the premises has a warm welcoming smile and exceptionally friendly manners that certainly deserve a 10 grade or even higher. You just feel greeted by your closest friend, and actually the first thing he did was to pay my taxi before I even went out of the car!... And during all my stay anything I asked was immediately provided with pleasure. The guesthouse is nicely decorated with many antique furniture and equipments that make you feel being in a personal home and not in a hotel. The street is far away from the main traffic and the property is quiet and conveniently located. The owner, Mr. Li, is living far away but he's quick in helping in anything you request and actually he spent a lot of time showing me around. A great team and certainly a great place to stay.

The staff were amazing. They have taken really good care of us. Especially the manager, he has showed us around, introduced the local culture, the history, the food and recommended where to visit. Patient and detail orientated. Love the touch of personal service! Thank you for making our trip so special!
