Set in Had Kham in Nong Khai Province, Wasuthan Garden House features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Free private parking is available on site. Rooms have a flat-screen TV. Our host Nick went out of his way to look after us. We were heading for Laos and he gave us a ride to the border crossing (we gave him a small fee) and let us leave our car at his house until we returned. Also gave us a free breakfast which we weren't expecting. This room is a building within his own property so it is very quiet, secure and private.

Wala pang 1.1 kilometro ang layo mula sa Wat Sisaket at 1.1 kilometro mula sa Hor Phra Keo, ang SYRI Boutique Guesthouse Restaurant & Cafe ay nag-aalok ng mga kuwartong may air conditioning at private... We liked this guesthouse so much, we came to stay stay here again after our journey ended. Very clean, best value for money especially in SE Asia. Love their cats and hope to come back again.

Ban Saylomleng Residence is situated in Vientiane, 6.4 km from Wat Sisaket, 6.4 km from Hor Phra Keo, as well as 10 km from Thatluang Stupa. The host was very kind and accommodating in helping me check in late. I was only there for the night, but it was perfect and very close to the airport

Pikul Apartment Hotel, a property with a garden, is set in Nong Khai, less than 1 km from Tha Sadet Market, 3.6 km from Nong Khai Train Station, as well as 7.5 km from Thai-Laos Friendship Bridge. Don, his wife and the lady running the hotel are warm and friendly. The Bouganvillea is gorgeous. We had the top floor, quiet with nice views. The room is spacious and as remote workers we loved having a desk each. This isn't a fancy apartment but if you value space and functionality I'd recommend it. Bonus points for cats.

Set within 1.6 km of Laos National Museum and 2.5 km of Wat Sisaket, ARTIST GOLDEN LOFT Paris - Vientiane Homestay offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Vientiane. It was perfect for what I was looking for, quiet, comfortable, secure, close to the riverside and town centre (10 minute walk) and close to a gym. There is a coffee shop downstairs which has lovely food, coffee and other drinks. There is a seperate kitchen to cook some simple meals for yourself and a seperate lounge area which is very nice to sit around in. The apartment is very spacious. The owner let me check in early and was very helpful for any additional requests that I had. I ended up staying an extra week, I liked it that much.
