The room is very pretty, super clean and the towels and bedding smelled very good and fresh! It's located on the hill, very close to the main street where you find all the restaurants and coffees in Ella. Would definitely stay again!

This is a wonderful place to be. Fantastic natural environment, we had moneys in the trees just in front of our bungalow and watched them for an hour or so. Some fireflies at night, fantastic scenery of mountains and forest. The place is some 50 meters right above the railway, so you see all the trains passing by. Plus and above all, the family who runs the hostel is so nice and friendly. The parents of the owner don’t speak much English, still it’s worth communicating, as they are lovely people. The meals the mother was cooking were incredible, just huge! Could never finish them, also of great variety and not too spicy, just extraordinary, really the best in four weeks of traveling. Also the owner took us for a tour and arranged transportation for a fair price. The place is about 30 minutes walking distance from town but walking along the train tracks through a beautiful local area is an outstanding experience.
