Kerstin was such a lovely host and helped us settle in and know other places to get things we needed for our stay like taxis and halal restaurants. We would definitely recommend for any body visiting the eastern side of Mauritius.

Located in Grande Rivière Sud Est, 17 km from Belle Mare, Riverside Holiday Home provides a terrace and free WiFi. Rajesh is just the perfect host, very helpful for us with everything even before landing in Mauritius for the first time and during all our stay, even if we booked one of his apartment only for the last days! The room and facilities were just perfect. The view over the river is really lovely. Even if the location is not very near to a beach, there are options at small driving distance. I highly recommend Rajesh and his apartments!! Last but not least, I highly recommend his car renting services! We had one of his 5 cars, a Toyota in very good condition, for all our stay in Mauritius. Very good price and excellent service!

Horisun offers accommodation in Belle Mare. The guest house has a barbecue and terrace, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. It’s a beautiful, peaceful place. The hosts, Sang and Roshan, are the so pleasant and accommodating, they really made us feel at home. The food is delicious. I highly recommend having dinner there - anyone who doesn’t is missing out!

Set on the banks of the Grande Riviere South East river, Otentic, Eco Tent Experience offers a glamping experience featuring a swimming pool and a variety of outdoor activities. Cute tent set up, what I liked was the very delicious home cooked meals especially their lunch is not to be missed. Trust book where you log in everything you eat and drink and they calculate during check out. Staff very friendly organize day and afternoon trips. Had a live jam session in the evenings. The location is very tucked away yet not remote easy to get to. Loved our stay !

Blue Ocean Suites and apartments is a set of 6 suites and apartments situated right on the beach of Trou d’Eau Douce. Very nice and comfortable flat, really kind lady helping us with everything, like reservation of a boat trip, money changing etc., good location near the sea, perfect was the water filter in nice lounge, speed WiFi..

The staff was very friendly, and the house was really clean. The staff took care of us carefully so that we would not be uncomfortable, and although it was a short stay, he did his best.
