A small, delightfully decorated bedroom with everything you might need. Refrigerator, plenty of electrical outlets, glasses, coffee. Table to sit at, couch, tv, electric fireplace. We were able to park right outside our door on the street, even on the busiest week of the year. We walked to breakfast and ice cream after dinner. You can walk to the lake also, a nice restaurant there. Minutes from Watkins Glen State Park and the NASCAR race track.

There was coffee, fruit, and granola bars free in the lobby. The balcony and breathtaking view of Seneca Lake across the road was terrific. And it faced east. Rickie was frequently in the lobby and he is a beautiful large terrier of a sort who was great, gentle, and playful with our 3 mos old mini goldendoodle mix pup. The owners were very pleasant!

I highly recommends staying at the Budget Inn. The owner was extremely nice and welcoming. He allowed us to check in an hour early after driving and arriving early. The rooms were very clean and service was provided each day. The room had a huge fridge and microwave. The hotel had breakfast and the owner gave us recommendations of places in town to hike. The hotel is in a great location, right across the street from CVS and a grocery store. It is only a few minute driver to Watkins Glen State Park. Additionally, the owner called me to let me know that I had left my sneakers in the closet. When I arrived to pick them up, he had neatly placed them in a bag for me. Highly recommend!! :)
