This is a family-run business who cannot do more for their guests! All of the staff were so lovely, helpful, and informative about nature including giving us fruit picked from the trees! The breakfast every morning was delicious (defo go for the typical Costa Rican breakfast) cooked by the owners. We also ate from their restaurant which was YUMMY! Thanks to Chalets Silencio , we had a perfect stay with you! The nature here is breathtaking, the flowers, trees, fruits and so many animals!!! Note that the location of the lodge is outside of downtown La Fortuna but it was perfect for us as that's exactly what we wanted for two nights before moving to a downtown location :)

Cabañas Sueños del Arenal ligt in Fortuna, op 5,7 km van La Fortuna-waterval en 7,8 km van Kalambu Hot Springs Water Park. The property was perfect for us as a couple. Close to La Fortuna and far enough away that you were out of the busyness. The kitchen was stocked well enough to make simple meals. King bed was comfortable. The view of Arenal Volcano was amazing when it wasn’t too cloudy. The patio was sheltered from the rain so you could still enjoy coffee outside in the morning. Property felt secure with remote control opening and closing.

Cecropia Ecolodge is gelegen in Fortuna, op 31 km van La Fortuna-waterval en 34 km van Kalambu Hot Springs Water Park. The accommodation is great. In the middle of nature. We were able to see so many animals and to even plant a tree. The owner gave us great tips about things to do. We would stay there again. We recommend a high car with 4Wd.

Las Pavitas Cottages bevindt zich in Fortuna, op 14 km van La Fortuna-waterval en 7,5 km van Kalambu Hot Springs Water Park. Breathtaking views from the house and very well managed. The house was clean and has all the necessary things required for family. We had to cancel our sight seeing plans just to stay in the house and enjoy the vibe. Highly recommended.

Boca Tapada Lodge bevindt zich in Boca Tapada en biedt gratis WiFi en een tuin met een terras en uitzicht op de rivier. The place is marvelous, very clean and welcoming, really close to the nature! Make sure to take the boat trip and say hello to Mantequilla and Princesa, the hotel pets.

The property is a family-run business with the family working across reception, food service and other support. The accommodation was great, with individual units air-conditioned on the property. The pool was a great temperature and clean. The property is calm and quiet and the breakfast was great. We easily drove to several activities in the local area within 30-45 minutes, including animal reserves and a chocolate tour, before moving on to La Fortuna. The children loved meeting the water buffalo and had an exceptionally great time.
