This was one of my favourite stays worldwide! The facilities are well maintained and better than what the pictures show. The restaurant serves a great breakfast with a view of the volcano and bird watching, the shared area has a nice pool table, and the rooms are spacious and well equipped. I had some of the best sleep of my life here. The cherry on top, however, was the helpful and caring staff all around. John and Luis at the reception were particularly helpful with any requests and even managed to snag us some discounts with nearby activity operators! This is one stay where we regretted not staying for longer and didn't want to leave.

Situato su 348 ettari di foresta pluviale tropicale, nell'Arenal Conservation Area, a soli 2,7 km dall'Arenal Volcano, l'Arenal Observatory Lodge & Trails ospita un lago, una piscina, una terrazza... The views and the staff where fantastic. The location of the resort is amazing, quiet and right beside the volcano, right in a rain/cloud forest. Beautiful walks and hikes and they can arrange events if you like.

Ottima posizione, con la macchina si arriva dappertutto in pochissimo tempo. La struttura in se è piuttosto rustica ma c'è tutto il necessario all'interno, quindi non ci siamo lamentati. Il prezzo è nella media delle altre strutture del posto.

As you ate a delicious breakfast, you not only had a very warm and welcoming atmosphere that included seeing so many types of birds (including a toucan) feasting on bananas. In the evening, a frog tour that entailed a leisure walk around the beautiful property. So many birds and so many frogs!

Jay and Nohelia were amazing - we couldn't have asked for more. They cooked incredible food in the morning for breakfast which you can eat whilst watching the wildlife and there is also the option to eat in the evening. They gave us brilliant recommendations to see things in the area and were genuinely one of the nicest couples & hosts we have ever met! The location is a bit off road so bring a 4x4 but once you are there, it's peaceful and beautiful. The room we had was well equipped and clean. 100% would recommend!!

Offering inner courtyard views, Luna Lodge is an accommodation set in Fortuna, 6 km from La Fortuna Waterfall and 5.2 km from Kalambu Hot Springs. We stayed here in 2 rooms as 2 families of 4. The size was great! We liked that it was off the main road and the kids loved eating breakfast on the balcony each morning. Very comfortable and clean. Hosts were very nice and accommodating
