Located on the foothill of Chimborazo Volcano, Chimborazo Lodge offers rooms with heating in Chimborazo Natural reserve. There is a restaurant, and free parking is provided. Riobamba is 36 km away. Is is situated on the foothills of Chimborazo. The staff is super friendly, the rooms clean and comfortable (includes a great selection of photographs and books), the food was great (they made changes of the menu regarding our food allergies and nutritional requests).

Set in Cotopaxi National Park, 6 km from the entrance, Chilcabamba Lodge has comfortable rooms charming with rustic-style décor. We liked everything about Chilcabamba, from the initial communication to check-out. Jessica got in touch right away to facilitate the activities / transportation we needed. After transportation from Quito, we were greeted with a complimentary traditional hot drink. The rooms were spotless. There was only one other family when we stayed, and our kids loved playing together in the main lounge area. The food was excellent. The grounds include a 20 minute path through the beautiful grasslands to a trout pond. It was peaceful and beautiful.
