The gardens looked perfect, they are doing a great job do keep the facilities gorgeous. Tongariro alpine Crossing 50 km away, for those in for fishing Tongariro river is just behind the corner as you simply get out from the lodge there.

There were lots of special touches like organic soaps, free range eggs and the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting

Which has superb views of the lake, and hills surrounding it, the property is modern and spacious and superb kitchen , we decided to eat in each night as this property was so good with great views, . The owners, Garth & Angie went beyond the call to make our stay memorable & easy to highly recommend from the welcome, to the pre dinner drinks & canapes, the sharing of local knowledge & the beautifully presented, comfortable rooms. The breakfast was 10/10 using locally sourced high quality products. The coffee also got a gold star.
