Something words just can't express the feeling. The owners are sweet sweet couple with a lot of good willing.

Situated in Geres, in a historic building, 700 metres from Geres Thermal Spa, Chalet Villas Gerês is a recently renovated villa with an outdoor swimming pool and garden. Chalet Villas Geres is a lovely oasis near the Peneda Geres National Park. It is within any easy walk to the charming town of Geres and near the hiking trails of Peneday Geres. The pool is clean and absolutey beautiful, tucked under a huge Palm tree with the river nearby. Our villa was quiet and private. The hosts, Susana and Tomas were a delight, went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

Featuring a swimming pool, a garden, a bar and views of the pool, Muas Guest House is set in Vila Real and offers accommodation with free WiFi. What a view! We got a balcony room overlooking the mountain and towns below, as well as the pool and cute bar area downstairs. The room itself is quite small, but the bed was great and we really stayed here to be near the scenic area and Fisgas de Ermelo, the truly epic waterfall within a 20 minute drive of the property through the beautiful mountain area. The host was great, friendly to talk to and gave us some great tips (plus a quite good affordable bottle of wine for the evening). Make sure to bring dinner with you or stop before you come for the evening as there is nothing in the immediate area. Breakfast was quite good too. There is also a pool and hot tub, although it was too cold for us to use those (even in July). Overall, if you're driving through the area, it's worth a stop!

Situated only 12 km from Natur Waterpark in Peso da Régua, Casa das Vinhas Velhas by Casa do Poço features accommodation fitted with a balcony, garden and seasonal outdoor pool. Cecilia and Fernando were lovely hosts! we will definitely come back! The place was very tidy and clean, had clean sheets and towels, a private pool, a nice balcony to eat outside with the amazing view. They gave us wood for the outside barbecue which was amazing, they were always available for our questions, had a lot of really good recommendations, and Fernando also gave us a taste of his Porto wine as a welcome. Unforgettable stay! We also asked for additional wine tasting at their vineyard which is a must if you stay there! it is a perfect place for a couple or families touring the Douro valley, even just for relaxing with the beautiful view of the vineyard, just breathtaking. Highly recommend it!

Featuring river views, Solar do Cávado in Vieira do Minho features accommodation, a shared lounge, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. The view was great! The food was good so we didn't have to drive every night for dinner. Bar on premises. Everything was fabulous. Too bad they don't accept dogs. :-(

Situated in Mondim de Basto in the Norte Region region, Refúgio das Poldras features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. Even though we had a short stay it's definitely a highlight of our trip so far. The host was so welcoming and nice to talk to us about adjacent landmarks. The little house had everything and more than one could ask for. The view from the window is something to return for. Everything is perfect, starting from the welcome snacks and drinks to the wonderful breakfast in the morning. The morning mango and bakery included were a delight.

Set in Boticas in the Norte Region region and Carvalhelhos Thermal Spa reachable within 2.7 km, Boticas Parque Natur Houses offers accommodation with free WiFi, a children's playground, a garden and... The apartments are clean and cozy with all general purpose things you could need for your stay. The surroundings are amazing, forests with mushrooms and trees. Also great for kids to be able to learn about farm animals and rural environments.

Offering an outdoor pool, Equinaturi is set in Santo Tirso, 24 km from Porto. Braga is 26 km from the property. I like the property it was so bright and green right in mountains and has amazing swimming pool and place to park the car.

Set in Apúlia and only 200 metres from Pedrinhas Beach, Trehus Apúlia offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. With garden views, this accommodation features a terrace.... This place is fantastic, first line from the sea with excellent views. The accommodation is very well equipped and very comfy, with private parking. It far exceeded what we expected. We will be back.
