They made us feel so welcome. we loved the design of the units and the personal touch with meals etc.

The location is superb with spectacular views across to the mountains. The property lacks nothing for the comfort of its guests and the staff are attentive and reliable. We found no negatives.

Set on the banks of the Tugela River, 22 km north of Winterton, Tugela River Lodge features self-catering accommodation 13 km from Spioenkop Nature Reserve and 22 km from Winterton Museum. We loved the spaciousness of the unit and the fact that it was pet friendly. The yards are also very spacious. We also enjoyed being off the grid and not experiencing loadshedding.

Very clean, great view, loved the extra detail with flowers on the bed and next to the cups. They go the extra mile for you with this service.

Birches Cottage & the Willows Garden Room is situated on a gravel road, 5 km from the vilage of Underberg. The estate offers nature trails, riverside pools, picnic spots, decks and viewing areas. It’s amazing views and proximity to the river, as well as how comfortable everything was.

J&B Lodge offers accommodation in Underberg, a 12-minute walk from Major Adventures and a 16-minute walk from Medical facility (Underberg). The property features mountain and garden views. The cottage was comfortable and well-equipped, even having a hair dryer, a rarity in South Africa! The setting, with sweeping views of the mountains, is spectacular, and the location is very convenient, just a short drive from restaurants in Underberg. Barry, our host, was warm, friendly, and very helpful!

Featuring a bar, Greenfire Drakensberg Lodge is located in Kruisfontein. The property is solar powered and offers Canadian-style log cabins. I enjoyed it being so secluded from pretty much everywhere with little to no signal! It’s a good place to escape from the city life with breathtaking views wherever you would look. The owners hospitality was exceptional and you felt very welcomed!
