I loved just sitting on my deck of my glamping tent and listen to the wind in the trees and the birds. Tents were very comfortable, good bed, beautiful bathroom and I woke up on a cold morning where I made a fire and took a warm bath, a relaxing place to be. Staff is very kind. There’s one gamedrive per day included where nature is beautiful, there are no elephants but this means beautiful trees. You can book a drive to see rock art of earlier people. Food is very good, creative with great combinations of tastes and spices. We were sad to leave.

Amazing view, both from the room and the hot tub. The unit is spacious and great for self catering as it already has the essentials - even a dishwasher. Close to a lot of tourist attractions. Awesome hosts.

This is a great place to sit back, relax and enjoy the spectacular views that this place offers. We hope to return one day and spent more time using Tugela River Lodge as a base to explore the area. No surprise Nature around is exceptional as the staff is. They are very thoughtful and trying to guess your needs even before you ask. Food is delicious and facilities comfortable.
