Hotels near Baţīn

We had 3 weeks in UAE, 2 days out of our weeks in uae, we stayed 2 nights in abu dhabi at this hotel. We drove with a family of 6, which included myself, my husband, my 3 children ages 1, 4, and 7, and my mother with disabilities. Went to check in, and they needed passports, which I had on my phone. We live in a day and age where everything is done electronically now worldwide, whether it's applying or submitting identification documents online electronically. But yet the hotel wanted the hard copies which i left in the safe at our hotel in dubai. The manager took my passport through my phone, which I emailed to him as he requested, but they still needed the passports in hand. So my husband and I had to drive back to our hotel in dubai to retrieve our 6 passports and drive back to abu dhabi. We left at 10 pm and arrived back at 1:30 am!!! 3 and a half hours already exhausted and tired, and driving in this condition, anything could've happened. But they didn't care. To them, it was to have the passports in hand. How else did we enter the damn UAE?!?!?! Obviously, with our passports. They risked us driving in this condition and had to leave my mother and my children in the hotel as they were very exhausted. My mother had to plead to the manager to atleast give a room for them to stay in while we were gone to get the passports, which they did, but he rubbed it in our face, oh we can't do this but I am only doing this because of the children. Not only this, in april this hotel stole my money!!!! They dubai had a massive flood on April 16th, 2024, and I had to cancel and rebook my entire trip due to the flood. But they stole my money and they didn't refund me for our hotel cancelation. They first agreed to refund me, as booking.com contacted the hotel and confirmed a refund. Then I got a message stating that I would not get a refund! Even though this trip cancelation was not my fault!

Everything was well taken care of..suite room was loaded with all facilities and staff was also very cooperative and hospitality was impressive.Although we stayed for only one day but will definitely look forward to booking this again.

Excellent neat and clean room

A nice comfortable stay. The hotel staff was very helpful and they accommodated all our requests. Many eateries around.

Breakfast, Pool, Comfort of Beds, Specious Room. All Was Good

Great location for attending events at ADNEC, spacious and clean rooms, friendly staff. Lacks the charm and character it might have had ten years ago, limited amenities for families, not the best location for exploring Abu Dhabi outside of ADNEC. Overall, the Andaz Capital Gate Abu Dhabi seems like a good option for business travelers attending events at ADNEC, but it might not be the best choice for families or tourists looking to explore the city.
