The location was fantastic - you could almost walk everywhere in the old town and just 5 mins from the train station and chapel bridge. Beautiful old city. Local people are very friendly for the lost and wandering tourist. If you’re into luxury shops, ornately decorated buildings and atmosphere, Luzern has it all. Fine dining restaurants but you can eat cheaper in a lot of smaller establishments. Close to the Pilatus, Titlis, Vierwaldstaettersee and those picturesque wooden bridges over the Reuss.

Lucern is one of the most beautiful city in Switzerland. Occasionally we stayed there during a Carnival (Luzern Fastnacht) . We enjoyed the show. The city itself is amazing. If you visit Lucern , don’t forget to visit also the Verkehrshaus.

There is a lot of history and charm inside the rooms, and each one is a little bit different. There are a lot of nice design touches that make you want to spend as much time in the rooms as possible. It's also very central to Lucerne with a little cafe on the first floor. It's self-check and no front desk, but I did find generally speaking the team was responsive through Booking.com and the staff in the adjoining cafe are there to support you as well.KamariAustria

It’s beautifully designed, the food is excellent, it’s a short walk from the train station, and the hotel water is spring fed so you can drink right from the tap. They were gracious and let us check in early after a long day of traveling. The Anker burger was the best burger I’ve ever had. The breakfast was stellar and everyone was so kind. We will DEFINITELY stay here again if we are lucky enough to visit Lucerne again. 👏❤️
