Friendly reception; the courtesy kettle & coffee & tea was appreciated (and I made use of them), the room was tidy and clean, so no issues at all with cleanliness.
No bed bugs either, I'm pleased to report. The room was warm enough that I didn't need to pull the blanket over myself. The bed was comfortable, and I got a good night's sleep (much needed).

We liked the old town but the rest of it was very down at heel and disappointing. It may be the that building work on the other side will improve the area but as we were staying in the middle of the works it was very unattractive

With only 24 hours, we only saw the old town, which is unspoilt (the most important feature for us of any destination). There were excellent traditional family run restaurants offering good traditional French food at reasonable prices. The ramparts offer a relaxing an interesting walk and the castle and cathedral a bit of culture.

Great place if you are interested in fishing, sea, seafood.
Great place if you are interested in fishing, sea, seafood. The historical city is worth a short visit. A lot of choice in restaurants and fish shops. Nice beach and waterfront sites. A part of the marina neigbourhoud is under reconstruction, the result will be very nice.

Boulogne-sur-Mer is a small but pleasant town to visit if you want to escape from the busy city life. We visited Nausicaa, the largest aquarium in Europe! It was worth the drive from Holland! That was the main reason for out trip.

A beautiful boutique hotel right in the centre of the old town. The lobby, breakfast room and bedrooms are exceptional. Everything is clean and comfortable. The bedrooms are actually a suite with separate adjoined room for children, a huge bathroom (bubble bath provided) and separate toilet.
Breakfast was delicious, with everything you could want.
We were also able to have a slightly earlier check in. Very polite and helpful staff.
This has simply been... amazing! The location couldn't be better: into the gorgeous historical heart of Boulogne-Sur-Mer.
The breakfast was splendid, just perfect - delicious hand-made marmalades, authentic and local French croissants, and so much more. The house oozes history, and the host is passionate about telling you more about its history. My historical heart rarely beat this fast before.
We will definitely be back!
Very lovely apartment in a central location of Boulogne sur Mer. We stayed for one night to take the Calais-Dover ferry the next morning which was ideal! The bed was really comfy and the bathtub was amazing after a long journey from Dijon. From booking I didn't know that we had to tidy the apartment/do the dishes/take out the trash but as we stayed only one night this wasn't a lot of work. Would recommend!
This was a great stop for us on our way to Calais. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. Super friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is located within easy walking distance to the old town and lovely shops and restaurants. We paid 5 euros to park the car in a secure parking and thought the breakfast was excellent value. The hotel welcomed our dog too. Would definitely stay here again
This hotel was absolutely beautiful! There are so many special touches, from the madeleines and tea selection to the magical crypt pool, to the amazing freestanding bath! The owners are so kind and friendly, and really seem to care about each and every guest.
We loved the location in the old town right next to the cathedral. The apartment was spacious and full of light. Very nicely decorated throughout and clean. It was quiet at night with only a little noise from the stairwell we think. Great value for money.
Ideally situated for the old town. Location, parking & local amenities and exploring perfect for what we wanted. Delicious bakery round the corner for breakfast pastries. Beautiful view of the Basilica right outside the frint door.. Would reccomend 😀
Lovely location in the old town of Boulogne, great for a couples getaway and with kids who are 5/6+
Little high street with a boulangerie right at the end of the street (out the door turn right) and the Basillica which is an architectural beauty!
The hotel is in a great location, near the walled old town and has secure off road parking for 10 euros. The breakfast was better than we expected with a good choice of food. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Lovely very comfortable apartment right opposite cathedral in middle of beautiful old town. Really good option in Boulogne. Well-equipped kitchen and supermarkets in easy walking distance.
Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent sound proofing of the rooms from the noises outside of the hotel. Large breakfast, good cleanliness and good room & hotel equipment.
Lovely central location in middle of old town of Boulogne.
All so fresh - simple yet attractive - just what we wanted.
We did not have breakfast as needed to depart.
We loved the location in the old town ,very nice restaurant right near by .the appartment was very clean and all kitchen stuff supplied all that you needed
