Easy walking distance to the city centre, easily accessible by car from the main roads, large parking, very close to the palace, quiet at night and very comfortable! Also I love their breakfast buffet! This is already the second time I stay here, and I will gladly come back!

Very conveniently located in the heart of the town near the chateau and park
Located in the heart of Fontainebleau, ibis Château de Fontainebleau offers modern guest rooms, just 200 metres from the Palace of Fontainebleau. You can enjoy a drink from the on-site bar.
Lovely little town full of friendly people. The Chateau Fontainebleau was spectacular! My husband and I have toured Versailles twice, but always found it extremely crowded and so difficult to take things in, while being jostled by other guests. Fontainebleau was nothing like that at all. It IS a magnificent chateau, not to be missed in terms of size, architecture and beauty. What is missing is the crowds. Most of the time, we were alone in the rooms (save a few security guards). It made it so much more pleasant to be able to actually take our time and really look at things rather than being constantly jostled along by the crowds of tourists. If you are anywhere nearby, definitely take the time to see it.

Fontainebleau is easily the rival of Versailles, and the bonus is there are far less people squeezing around. The gardens are perfect for a stroll around the water features, people picnicking on the grass and exploring hidden gems within them. The Palace was amazing, without the gold bling of some but with vastly richer history and ornate features easily a match for anything.
The town clearly has a multitude of dining options, we got Italian from Pizza Mimi which was wonderful, and we found a quaint little church and some unique little shops in the short time after the Palace closed.
Skip the day-trip do yourself a favour and stay longer to properly explore everything this beautiful part of France just out of Paris has to offer.

We had a family break celebrating my 60th birthday on Easter Sunday and we met up with family who live nearby. There is plenary to do for the Easter break in the hotel. They provide everything you need and more. Lovely feel staff friendly. We didn’t eat food as we did our own celebrations but it looked lovely and well laid out. I would happily stay here again.

We took the tourist train thru the gardens to get our orientation, then did our own walk. Even in October it was a great walk.
Did a self guided tour of the chateau with an audio guide - much better with the guide than it would have been without. Some amazing history explained!
The shops, restaurants & the walk ability were all great.

My visit to Fontainebleau was to watch the Ladies Real Tennis World Championships in the Chateau. Great event , hotel was close by . The staff in the restaurants visited were all great , despite a busy Easter week with great weather and lots of tourists . Dined at both lower price and higher price restaurants .
The location is great: in a quiet street but only 5mins by foot away from the Castle of Fontainebleau. The hotel has a free parking.
The rooms, even if not too big, are comfortable and equipped with tea and coffe facilities.
The bed is very comfortable.
The rooms are clean.
The common areas are very spacious and well organised. The swimming pool, the garden and the tennis court are great.
The staff people are very helpful and polite.
There is a water dispenser where you can fill your bottles also with sparkling water.
Superbly comfortable hotel with a spacious room and bathroom and a lovely street view. Breakfast was superb and service was excellent. I loved the decor of the hotel with its beautiful antiques and elegant furnishings. A real gem! The location could not have been better! It was across the road from the famous Fontainbleau Palace so that it was easy for us to visit the Palace a few times during our stay. It was also an easy walk to restaurants, shops and the market square. Highly recommended!
Apartment was quite close to campus and to the center of Fontainebleau. Supermarket and good restaurants two blocks away. Everything in the apartment worked as expected with plenty of room for one or even two persons. The bed is comfortable enough. Best thing about my stay was how attentive Abdel, the person in charge of coordinating the keys, was. He got out of his way to help me with anything. Definitely will be my first option to stay for studying purposes.
This is a very nice appartment close to the castle of Fontainebleau. It has a well-quipped kitchen, comfortable beds and both a dishwasher and a washing machine. With windows closed, it is perfectly quiet, otherwise you might hear a bit of noise from the nearby street, but nothing awful. The host is very nice and helpful. Parking is in the street and it is free and we had no problem finding a spot every day.
The property was well located, 10 minutes walk to the palace. Very clean, quiet area. Well equipped kitchen with coffee maker too. Bed was nice & comfy. The host was very kind, friendly, welcoming & gave us some info about the place. I will definitely recommend this studio & Fontainebleau. Its a beautiful place to explore. I would like to go back again. Thank you so much Emmanuel for your warm welcome.
What a cute, nicely decorated, convenient apartment to welcome us in Fontainebleau! Centrally located in town. Private with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Kitchen with Fridge, stove, coffee maker with coffee provided and cream/sugar. Quiet. Exceptionally clean. A welcome treat was the market going on Friday morning !
Great location for the chateau visit. The 2-star hotel felt more like a 3-star. We didn't try the breakfast since a charming cafe was just 1 min walk away. Would stay there again, if needed to visit Fontainebleau palace again, which itself is a great destination.
Amazing location, next to the Chateau. Old fashioned, charming, independent hotel. Our room had a wonderful view over the Chateau. Breakfast was really excellent. A combination of a traditional French breakfast with other great buffet items.
The location was fantastic for the centre and visiting Chateau de Fontainebleau. It was very clean and comfortable and they did a great continental breakfast.
Very friendly host, very easy to communicate, very nice flat with enough Space for ~4 people (we were only 2) and lots of new equipment in Kitchen etc.
