Not a good place to visit if you have a dog.
Not a good place to visit if you have a dog. Banned from the beach and also the promenade along the top of the beach. Some bars and shops were friendly others not so. Seemed to have a lot of belgian and dutch travellers who were more welcome. My french isnt good but I did try. We went mid april and to be honest i dont think the 'season' had started yet . Half the shops not open and pretty much everything except the hotels shut down by 7pm.

Great beach for sporty people and families.
Great beach for sporty people and families. Lovely long walks along the shore in both directions. Wissant is one of our favourite resort on this coast. Mussels and fries at/chez "Nicole". Copious and always delicious.

Parking was difficult as there were so many beach goers...
Parking was difficult as there were so many beach goers during a heatwave. It has old-world charm and was obviously once an elegant seaside resort. It is a pity that there no bars or cafes right on the beach - it would be wonderful to look onto the sea whilst having a drink/dinner.

A beautiful little French coastal town with an excellent sandy beach. The town is within easy reach of many WWII museums. Many are within minutes away from the town by vehicle. The surrounding countryside in land is very similar to the lowlands of Scotland. Motorcycle riders will find it delightful.

Breakfast was also simple yet absolutely sufficient and easy-going, with very friendly assistant helping with the coffee machine. Location of the hotel is very central with good restaurants nearby and also within close walk to the promenade and a very nice beach. The room did not have any windows except for the roof window in the small living room next to the bedroom. This made the actual bedroom a bit darkish but it did not bother me. The bed and the pillows were comfortable.

Kitchen is big enough for breakfasts & easy meals & all in teach from the high table. We loved the cozyness & made good use of the fireplace & the little backyard terrace. The 2 bedrooms in the attack are a bit of a climb due to relatively steep stairs but held enough space for the 4 of us and comfi beds. All beaches in easy reach for long walks along the costal line & all restaurants of Wissant easy to reach by foot. We definitely would come back.VolkerGermany

It is a small hotel with friendly staff. The rooms are quite small but the bed is comfortable and we had a sea-view room which opens onto a large shared terrace. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant but they recommended a very good dog-friendly restaurant and made a reservation for us. The hotel serves a continental breakfast, but oddly enough dogs are not allowed in the breakfast area.
