It’s a super wee village with all the shops, cafes, bars and restaurants you would want. Close to woodland walks from the town and short drive to the river and mountains of the Cairngorms a more relaxed feel than the nearby town of Aviemore.

A beautiful area with ancient forest, a local honey maker, an amazing selection of local shops - refillery, bookshop, stationery shop, big supermarket. This is a lovely place to stay to explore the Cairngorm national park. Easy to drive to highlights like Rothy Murchus and Loch Garten. Also lots of other adjacent areas like Nethy Bridge, Forres and Findhorn.

The hotel is a lovely old building and grounds which was originally a manse. Our charming hosts bought the business only one year before. They were warm, very welcoming and keen to recommend dinner options nearby. The living rooms and bar area seemed warm and inviting although we didn't avail ourselves of these as one of us was feeling unwell. Breakfast was served in a very pleasant sunroom. The food was cooked to order and we could help yourselves to cereal, toast and juice. Good parking outside the entrance.
You will not find two more detail-oriented, thoughtful and generous hosts than Thomas and Ben. This stay was exceptional and the breakfast was equal to any five-star dining experience we’ve had in all of Scotland. The owners went above and beyond to return a treasured item back to us that we’d forgotten after we left Grantown. We highly recommend staying at the Rossmor on any trip to the Cairngorms.
Excellent location within Grantown on Spey and perfect for accessing the Speyside Way. Mark was very helpful both before and during our stay. He answered all our pre booking queries about parking, bike storage and beds quickly and efficiently. Our room was comfortable and clean. Dinner was lovely, highly recommend the pies and staff friendly at all times.
We stayed in 8 hotels during out tour of Scotland and Ravenscourt House was our favorite. Nic was an excellent host. We loved the bar, the breakfast and the onsite restaurant which we ate at our first night. Nic was very helpful and and always available. He mixed us Gin and tonics and lent us ice packs to treat our injuries lol. Loved it here.
Large old hotel with roaring fires. Large rooms, comfy bed. The Hotel was in easy walking distance of Grantown. Quiet although it was on main road. Helpful staff. Didn't eat breakfast or dinner as we were going out with friends. I imagine it's a dog friendly hotel which may appeal to some travellers. Small shwer but plenty of hot water.
The house was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Very spacious. Well located for a walk into town for shopping or a night out. There was a welcome hamper on arrival and the host greeted us to make sure everything was okay.Grantown on Spey is a very friendly town.
Everything really. The stay was lovely. The owners were very nice good laugh to. The food was delectable the drinks were cheep and enjoyable. I would definitely highly recommend this to book for anyone. One of the finest hotels in Grantown on-spey ✌
Breakfast was wonderful! Make your selection the night before from a varied menu. David and Beate were great hosts. Informative and providing guidance to touring the area up through Elgin to Inverness. One of our favorite stays while in Scotland.
Central location with plenty of parking. Quirky hotel, good size room with comfy bed. Nespresso coffee machine and fresh milk in room. Breakfast was nice, good selection of hot and cold options - waitress at breakfast was excellent.
