Melydron was just perfect, I am so sad it was only one night! The apartment is beautiful, modern and very very clean. My one opened out onto the pool area, had a lovely balcony and I was right by the pool bar which is open early and closes late! Perfect for morning coffee and a late nightcap. The pool area opens onto the sea too, it’s just some steps down to the beach which is small and feels very private. It’s quite rocky so remember some sea shoes! And if you walk just 3 mins to the castle you can explore some interesting ruins - never seen anything like it. The staff were what made the stay so wonderful too - always so friendly and helpful. I couldn’t recommend enough!

Preveza is a cute little harbour town, its proximity to Nicopolis was the main reason for our stay. It is also great for trips in the island of leukada and also relatively close to the beautiful nature and mountains of Epirus. Easy and convenient airport and Preveza offered a very relaxed atmosphere in the old town area. Many good restaurants including some like Saitan Palazar with live Greek music on certain evenings. Taverna Mythos was delightfully friendly and good value for money. Dioni Boutique Hotel was excellent and in an enviable position. Easy access by 6 euro taxi to the Ktel bus station for 7 euro bus to Parga or 1 euro 60c easy bus back to airport. We shall certainly use this gateway to Greece again.

We ADORED Preveza! One of our favourite places we have ever been. It felt totally authentic, non-touristy, there was such a buzz everywhere & everything we ate was incredible. Small town which is not packed with tourists luckily. The beaches are amazing -Alonaki is my favourit-, the architecture is amazing, the food is extremel delicious in every single restaurant (Opaka was our favourit)! The people are generally kind and try their best to help when needed. The food prices are low. Perfect place to roam around on a bike, there are no real distances, perfect for photoshoots and to enjoy your summer to the fullest.AndreaHungary

The apartment is lovely, spacious enough to allow privacy for a family with adult children such as ours, Very quiet neighbourhood, 10 minutes from Monolithi beach, we would recommend Ionio beach bar, amazing service and affordable, well-made food. Dora was very welcomong and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed being in the town close to shops and tavernas and only 10 - 15 min walk to the local beaches. From the balconies you could look down the friendly alleyway of tavernas and see the sea by the town quay. We've had a great holiday and when we come back we will definitely look at flying into Preveza and staying at Oikia.

It is in a very quiet area, with gardens and swimming pool that invite you to rest. Family atmosphere. All apartments have good views of the garden. The very large private terrace. While it is true that the sea is very close, the immediate beach is only good for a walk. Don't miss visiting the Acheron River. We enjoyed staying at the Kalamitsi Hotel.
