We received a lovely warm welcome from our host Miro, who was so friendly and helpful, coming to meet us directly from the bus to escort us to the apartment which was a lovely touch. He also gave excellent recommendations and local info. And was on hand for anything we needed for the duration of our stay. We would definitely stay again!

A quaint little town on the west side of Vis Island, reachable by bus. The pier is nice with great restaurants and lovey beaches nearby. Plenty of tourist agencies to organise your activities. I recommend Pizzeria Charlie in Komiza!! We went there to eat twice and the food, the staff, and the service were 10/10

Beautiful town, loved wandering the small alleys and greeting the local cats(which all looked healthy and taken care of!). Loved Lucica and Gusarica beaches right in the town and if you are up for a hike, Plaža Barjoska beach was lovely too. We didn't do any of the tours from Komiza as we were saving money, and still had a fantastic time. Enjoyed eating at Fabrika (they have plenty of Vegan and Vegetarian options) otherwise was a bit disappointed in the other restaurants. Easy to get to Vis port by bus to then catch the ferry to Split or Hvar (look out for dolphins!).

Fantastic little old town on a mysterious and stunning island of Vis. It is best for families and couples that want to chill and enjoy many small beaches, few bars and few restaurants. It is also great for nature lovers as there are many hiking opportunities, nudist beaches, biking trails, diving, and so on.

Very nice place for holiday, nice restaurants.
Very nice place for holiday, nice restaurants. I recommend lunch at Konoba Koluna. Try komiška pogača (traditional fast food dish) at Tajer. Try nice traditional wine - Plavac or Vugava. Also recommend Amesboat trip to the Biševo island and climbing to the Hum peak.

I have been going to Komiza for 20+ years of and on as a child and now with my own kids. I would highly recommend it to anyone , specially families with kids. It has great beaches. It can get crowded because it has now been discovered by the world ( Mama Mia movie ) and everyone wants to vacation here.
The only thing that bothered me was the large yats that are parked everywhere which does take away from the feeling you are in a small fishing village in Dalmatia and makes it more of a vacation "hot spot" .
At the end, the beauty of Komiza makes it all worthwhile.

We were there in early June before high season.
We were there in early June before high season. It was still quiet in comparison to mid summer according to the locals. We liked it that way!
We ate at Konoba Barba on our last night and it was delicious.
The ice cream at Charlie is delicious and the people generally are very, very friendly!
We loved this apartment! It was small but lovely. We enjoyed relaxing on the terrace next to olive trees and wine most. It is a very quite place. We missed some things in the kitchenette but the owner gave us everthing we asked for immediatly. The owners were very friendly, the communication was perfect. But the best host was Marco, the cat. He is very caring cat and makes this place more than perfect. I think this is the perfect accommodation for a visit in this beautiful town Komiza. We are for sure coming back!
Great return to the apartment we stayed at last summer - we loved it and booked again this year. Location is central, parking spot on site available, and everything in Komiza is within walking distance. Landlady as cool and helpful as she was last year, good communication, we arrived on a late ferry and she waited for us with the keys - greatly appreciated. Apartment is perfect for 4 people, all amenities available. WiFi works great. We will be back!
I highly recommend this accommodation. We stayed just for a short trip this time, but I'm sure we'll come back when in Komiža again. The room was pristine and everything is new and nicely decorated, with an extra comfortable bed. The location could not be better, and we had all the facilities we could ask for in the basic accommodation. There is also a shared terrace overlooking the promenade and the bay.
The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was quite new with a lovely shower head. The small balcony where we ate breakfast every morning had the most beautiful outlook over the bay and stuuning town of Komiza. The owner was a very helpful and pleasant man. Marie made us a lovely breakfast every day. We loved our stay here.
Unbeatable location - directly opposite Lucica Beach, and a couple minutes from Komiza town. If you get the room with a balcony looking over the sea you'll get sunset views, and listen to the waves while you're in bed.
The host is lovely and had recommendations on beaches and restaurants in the area.
This is a very charming studio at the beginning of Komiža boardwalk. It’s is placed in a traditional building on a top floor with a porch and a sea view. It is very close to everything. Our host was very friendly and helpful. Our stay was too short to fully enjoy this nice property. We hope to be back.
The apartment is quite big, nice and comfortable.
Big balcony.
It is situated in the city center of Komiza. The road next to the building is not allowed to be passed by cars, so it was mostly quiet.
You can see the sea from the balcony. The next beach is reached within 3 min by foot.
Personally we found the owners as very warm, welcoming and helpful people. It almost felt as if we were at home or at our grandma’s but far from home. They really helped as in many ways and we really enjoyed meeting them and will definitely visit them again!
There is a beautiful garden right behind the apartment. View was quite nice. Also private parking spot was provided, which helps quite a lot in Komiža.
Our host was very nice and concerned about our comfort during stay.
The hosts were very friendly and always ready to help. The apartment was really clean and we had everything that we needed.
Great location in the beautiful town of Komiža.
The Kids loved the pool. Lovely view. House was clean, confortable everything i hopes for. Island vis is wonderfull and Komiza trully the better options VS town Vis.
Great Location, easy to find. Less than 5 minute walk to restaurants. The lady that runs this hotel is lovely and very helpful. Would highly recommend staying here.
the location is great. very close to the center. other things i did not like. for the same value you could get a room in a old hotel with 2 meals/day included.
